Let me preface this by saying that the food is good. When we want pizza, we order from here. This time, I also wanted wings. We ordered using the slice app. They’re labeled as chicken wings which didn’t set off any alarm bells. The first option you have is to select the “sauce.” First listed is BBQ and after that is Buffalo, I believe. There are other sauces. I selected Buffalo and, as I scrolled down further, I also selected blue cheese. I scrolled no further as I presumed that I was ordering Buffalo wings with bleu cheese as a dipping sauce. I was incorrect.
When the food arrived, everything looked in good order until I opened the box of wings. What I ordered was chicken wings with a side of Buffalo sauce and bleu cheese. Not ideal and not what I was expecting.
When I called the store, I was told that the first sauces listed were dipping sauces and the LAST sauces listed were the sauces in which the wings were tossed. When you order wings at a restaurant, they don’t ask what dipping sauces you want first then ask you what sauces you want the wings cooked in so this was a surprise. Yes, I should have “scrolled down” to make sure I was ordering the right item but that is backwards and less than user friendly.
In any event, I called the store to discus. The manager with whom I spoke was less than apologetic. I was told that was the way they set it up and that I should read all the options before finalizing an order. While I tend to agree, would you think that when you order a pizza (regardless of toppings) that you have to scroll all the way down the list of options to see cheese selections in order to have cheese on it or, if you didn’t, that your pizza would just show up without cheese?
Rather than deal with this place again (they’ve made errors in the past - wrong items delivered, delivering way past the estimated time, etc. (which wasn’t a big deal and the store remedied to the extent possible)), we will order from another place from now on. As the manager I spoke with did not want to have a conversation about they issue (I did hang up after she wouldn’t acknowledge that this was at the very least misleading), I am begrudgingly writing an online review which I have never done...
Read moreThis place is beyond awful. I haven't had pizza this bad since I was in the cafeteria line in middle school. It is incomprehensible that this restaurant's rating is so high. The pizza was stone cold when we picked it up despite picking it up at the earliest time in the window given in the app they force you to order through. The pizza looked nothing like the photos they have on their website, truly false advertising. The cheese was thick and gross, glopped on haphazardly, the awful-tasting sauce was spread thin in some places and overflowing in others, and the dough had hard sections. Absolute waste of money, and the app shames you into tipping even for pick-up orders, so these people earned a tip for making something 10x worse than a frozen Elio's pizza. Never ever go here. There are so many better places in Warren and the East Bay. These people do not deserve to be...
Read moreOn 3/2/24 I received a menu in the mail advertising that they delivered. I thought I would give them a try. I hadn’t ordered from them in years since they changed locations. I placed an order for Linguica and onion pizza(which was on the menu). The employee who took my order asked me what was on pizza because Linguisa and onion pizza wasn’t on her board? I told her it could be Chourico and onions it didn’t matter. She told me it would be 35 minutes for a delivery. After an hour passed, I tried calling them to check the status of my order. The phone just rang and they wouldn’t pick up. After 1 1/2 hrs and no pizza, I ordered from Dominos. Needless to say, I would still be waiting for my pizza because they never showed up. I will never order from them again. Hire...
