We have been a Del's family for a long time. But, we are done with Del's after the way we were treated at this store today. Went there with 2 kids, waited patiently in a long line like everyone else. When our turn came, we requested to taste a flavor before ordering. The gentleman behind the counter says ok, then gives a sample in a folded lid. I requested him if the other kid could get a sample too. He looks at us dismissively and asks the kids to share the sample he already gave, basically forcing the second kid to eat what was already sucked on by the first kid. Once upon a time it was a mark of pride that these humble frozen lemonade stands were small local businesses.

Fans like myself are PRAYING some entity comes along and bank rolls this brand to national prominence. Californians can keep their in-and-out burger. I'll take my Del's ANYDAY!
NOTE to unwitting customers: REAL Del's frozen lemonade is scooped with a ladle. Ask for it extra-sloppy! -If it is dispensed from a slush puppy type machine RUN AWAY it is trash. Nothing like...
