Amanda's hair lounge gives a really great experience. It is the most adorable shop, clean and friendly. They really make you feel comfortable and welcomed when you walk in. I have been getting my hair done my Michelle for over a year now and I could not be happier! Michelle really takes time to hear what you want and give her input on how to acheive it. She is so talented and I cannot say enough amazing things about her as a stylist. My daughter has extremely thick, tight curly hair. Michelle advised me to consult with stephanie, since Steph is familiar with hair textures like my daughters. Two days ago my daughter finally got her haircut with Stephanie and we could not have imagined it to be any better. I have never seen my daughters hair look this amazing. She seriously boosted my daughters self esteem, she has not stopped touching her hair and smiling. I rarely write reviews, never mind something this long. I followed Pam and Danielle when they moved from the salon I had first encountered their talent to open Ananda. From the moment the doors first opened, I knew it was a special place with amazing people. I have never trusted anyone else with my hair and every time I leave the salon, I feel beautiful and like I've been with friends. Walking in, you immediately feel at home. The decor, music, offered tea (or wine); it all is icing on the talented cake. The ultimate compliment I can give Danielle is telling her strangers stop me on the street to compliment my locks. I had a hard time deciding which local hair salon to use in the East Bay after moving into the area. After reading some reviews I decided to go with Ananda Hair and I am so happy that Michelle was selected as my stylist!
