I used to really enjoy this restaurant. I would go with my family often, and I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner options. I finally came back after Covid slowed down, and the first time I came back the service was awful. Our waitress was extremely rude, she messed up our order and then openly told the cook that it was OUR fault, then when I went to pay tried to take money out of my hands while I was counting it out (she still hadn’t told me the total at this point). I tried to give it a second chance and came back today. I ordered the grilled chicken salad (which used to be my favorite), and I was very disappointed. The fries on top were burnt, the lettuce tasted like it had been washed with dish soap, etc. Overall, it has been a very disappointing experience. I thought I might have been dramatic and harsh about the whole thing until everyone at my table agreed. Like I said, I tried to give it a second chance but with the downfall of the food, the rude waitresses, waitresses taking forever to even bring out drinks then disappearing for 30 minutes at a time, it was just very sad. With my own current and past kitchen/waiting experience, I wouldn’t ever imagine treating customers like this. The best thing I have to say is there desserts are still amazing. Only positive...
Read moreDecided to try this restaurant after many recommendations from friends and family. We were on our way home from a wonderful weekend away for our 25th anniversary. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. My wife had the Greek Platter and I had the Beef tips sauteed in onions and mushrooms, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a salad. For dessert we took home a piece of graham cracker cream pie. The Greek Platter had incredible fresh shredded feta on the salad portion and the other two items were both very good too. The salad I had was larger than most restaurants I've been to and had the normal julienne carrots, grated cheese, and diced tomatoes. I had the Bleu Cheese dressing which was very good. My beef tips were done to perfection with a seasoning on them that was amazing. The onions and mushrooms were delicious as well and I am not a huge fan of onions. We shared the pie slice later that night at home and it was delicious as well. Overall, the meal was excellent,as we had been told it would be, and the price wasn't bad. The bill with two meals, two soft drinks, and one dessert was about $48 plus a tip for our very attentive and personable waitress. We will definitely be returning to try more of...
Read moreMy husband and I enjoyed dinner here as a part of our date night. As soon as we walked through the doors, we were greeted and told we could sit wherever we'd like. Everything looked clean, and I loved the atmosphere. The service was also very friendly and I got the feeling she enjoyed her job there. My husband ordered the Black and Bleu burger, which he enjoyed greatly. I ordered the Pittsburgh style buffalo chicken sandwich, with the fries on the side. It was so good, I cleaned my plate! We were both a fan of their homemade ranch that we dipped our fries in. We had heard great things about their famous homemade pies, so we each ordered a slice. Definitely delicious! As cliche as it sounds, the food and desserts really taste as though it's made with love and a passion for making and serving good food, and that's why I think they've been open for so long and are so popular amongst the locals. If you're traveling in the area, don't miss...
