Decided to come here and meet some friends for dinner and a drink based on a Facebook post saying they have great nachos

I was pleasantly surprised how nice the atmosphere was. It’s very nice inside, even though the outside might portray otherwise.

The waitress seemed nice. They weren’t very busy. Just one other couple dining in at the time at the bar. But service was a tad bit slow, although the waitress was pleasant.

I ordered the nachos with pulled pork . They came out looking awesome. And I just knew they were going to be great . However , I was very disappointed that the cheese had no taste. It was bland. The pulled pork had no flavor. It tasted like water . The nachos were crisp and I thought the other toppings like the sour cream and fresh green pepper that I had them add more fresh. But it really didn’t make up for the lack of taste.

I also ordered the French onion soup and that also had no flavor.

We meet up every couple of months at a new place for dinner and it’s sad when the food disappoints. I left most of the nachos on the plate because they were that bad. I also had a drink as well as a glass soft drink, and those are both good.

My friend ordered the macaroni cheese bites. She immediately said they were terrible, and had no flavor. I tried one and had to agree with her. She did order a flavored whiskey, which was cookie dough. And said it was very good.

My other friend ordered the naked chicken sandwich. And again she said it was unseasoned, and it looked so pale she cut it all apart to ensure that it was cooked all the way through because she wasn’t sure by the looks of it.

You really must stop in to this amazing restaurant saloon located in a little strip mall at 12 and Hoover. The inside is very clean,well maintained,nicely decorated,even the ladies room. Whom ever dreamed this business dreamed well! Nothing cookie cutter about it! The food is homemade in house. The deserts homemade by a local baker. Always daily specials. Even City Chicken with real mashed potatoes!Knocked it out of the park again! Let me see …. Nachos with pulled pork, nachos with house chili, buffalo chicken dip, ricotta cheese dip with crostinis(special), Guido sandwich, pulled pork,burgers,pasta with palomino (special),house roasted beef roast thin sliced with mozzarella on an amazing hoagie type bun, burgers appear hand packed,French Dip, three amazing home made bbq sauces(regular,spicy and …. Typically I am not the mustard and vinegar type bbq sauce gal,but oh my I just enjoy their version. Oh my the list goes on. Sometimes a band on Friday or Saturday. Honestly, the food is better than the high priced chain restaurants. Worth the drive if you are looking for done thing to try. I do not drink,however, my son and friends say they have a nice list of beers(5/$12.00 bucket specials too), cider, with a list of specialty cocktails all served by the most amazing staff. I have been here twice to see the band that was playing. Both times I was underwhelmed. The menu is huge so I knew the food wasn't going to be great. On this last visit I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was cooked very well done and tough. The fries were ok. The outside is decorated for Halloween and looks very cute. When you have multiple motorcycles parked up there it takes away from that. The man that was behind the bar may have been the owner or manager but he wasn't helping the staff. It's not a good look for him to be drinking behind the bar. The bartender was very busy and did a good job of filling orders. When a customer said "no fruit" when their drink was served, the bartender took it off the glass and put it back to be re-used. That's gross, especially when you are using your hands. I am not used to a bar reuse my drink glass. They might be low on glassware since most drinks were served in a plastic cup. While I try to patronize local businesses as much as possible, this is one place I don't think I will be...
