Normally my service here is amazing without question, today I had an issue and the way that the issue was handled is what made this a 3-star instead of a 5-star review. There was a simple mistake that occurred with my sandwich, and if the manager who apparently saw the mistake happen had immediately begun to remake my sub I wouldn't have had an issue. I recognize they were busy and so there was a delay to actually get to the window when I got to the window I waited an additional 2 to 3 minutes before they even attempted to take my payment and then after running my credit card the girl informed me that my sandwich had to be remade and they were just starting now. I had asked if I still had to pay full price since not only did they make the mistake they waited until I had paid to notify me of the mistake and begin to remake my meal and I was basically told sorry but yes you have to pay even though now you have to wait an additional 8 minutes for your food when I asked to speak with the manager of the manager gave me a little bit of attitude because she had a trainee that was in the way rather than helping and tried to blame the mistake on the trainee although I could see in the window the trainee never touched my sub. I told the manager I thought it was unfair that I had to pay for an item that they had screwed up and tried to pass off to me like nothing had happened. And so she refunded me in cash which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. However, I still had to wait twice as long as I should have my onion petals were cold because they were not remade fresh while we waited on my sub and all of this could have been rectified with an apology a coupon or maybe even just a $5 gift certificate for next time I'll be back because this is the closest Tubby's to my drive home but I hope the level of service the next time I'm there is back to the same amazing service I...
Read moreWe always order before we go but the front door is always locked so it’s drive thru only. If you get there & there is someone ahead of you that gets in the drive thru first & orders at the drive thru window then you are SCREWED because now your food is getting cold sitting on the counter ready to go while you are behind 1 or 2 people who are waiting to get their food cooked & given to them. The girls are really nice & will kindly ask the driver they are making the food for to pull around if your food is ready but the guy that works there refuses to do so. He will just have you waiting there in line & go home to eat your cold food. This is the main thing that drives me nuts about this place but the other thing is instead of melting the cheese onto the meat for a steak & cheese sub they melt the cheese onto the bread & it seeps into the bread after melted so it never seems like there is actually cheese on your steak even after ordering extra cheese hoping that would make a difference. For Gods sake please melt the cheese onto the meat especially for a steak & cheese! I refuse to eat here anymore but I will still go to get my husband his sub. Just wish they’d think about the people that ordered ahead & be kind to them because we are customers spending money at your business also. I will say they are nice people to deal with otherwise. Edit: there will never be sauce on your steak & cheese or even cheese for that matter so make sure if you eat here you order extra cheese & extra sauce on the side because apparently they are really skimpy on the sauce. I went in to order a sub and when it was time for me to pay the guy at the register the guy said I could not use my mothers debit card to pay for the sub. I had the code to the card so obviously I had authorization to use it from my mother. I understand fraud is a huge issue but my last name and the name on mother's card was the exact same and I even volunteered to call her in front of them to prove I had her authorization. Not to mention the total was only $8.00. I also expressed to the guy at the register that I used the same card with the same first just this past Tuesday and they bluntly told me I was lying, which is not good customer service. Anyways, after they declined they said oh we believe you but we enforce this because of the area we are in and card fraud is common amongst you people. I will never go this location again.
