Fitter's Pub — Restaurant in Warrensburg

After a few visits I find it time to share.. Atmosphere: busy, hectic, loud. Service: busy so you may be waiting little longer than usual for a drink, refill, or food. Food: wings have good flavors, nice portions... nachos, at $15 the serving size is for a group not an individual, but the pork nachos i ordered came with pork that taste and look like leftovers from a different day. Not fresh of a grill or smoker meat. Lacked any smoke flavor which youd hope to expect from pulled pork. Portion size was great but flavor was lacking. If you want nachos($15) I may suggest the short drive to sedalia and hit "Endzone" in the Thompson shopping center. Thier half order is much better than Fitters, which doesn't offer a half order. The fried mushrooms are ok at best. They do differ from others as they slice and fry portobello mushrooms but still wasn't happy with the final outcome.

Overall if your not into a busy college bar then no need to go. More of a social setting than anything else. Food is over priced compared to other local bars and overall has not been very impressive over my 4 visits.

Plan on spending around $25-35 per person if your eating and having drinks. But may consider an actual...

Have never been treated by a hostess or manager on duty like we were. We came in for early dinner with family and drinks approximately 4pm. We ordered drinks, then dinner and more drinks. We were enjoying conversation and continuing to order drinks on occasion and at 6:50 the hostess says we need to leave in 10 min. They have another party coming in. We ask where are we to go? They can seat us at the bar or whatever.... Keep in mind, we have friends and family, my 15 yr old can't just set at the bar on a Saturday evening...... You sat us at that table..... why can't you move another table in another area to accommodate a so-called reservation? We were not loud or obnoxious and truly liked our waitress (little shy funny red head). Oh, and to make us feel better, we could move to a smaller table and Stacey would buy a round of drinks..... not impressed with management. No sincerity. Rude, rude, rude. We have patronized Fitter's for 15 plus years.... not impressed tonight to say the least. All about the next dollar instead of keeping current/continuing paying...

The food was good but the service not so great. Half of our party paid with cash and it took almost 20 min just to get our debit cards back. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant either. After sitting for another 10-15 min waiting for the cash change while the girl that was supposed to be bringing it to us stood and chatted with a male employee, the cash payers had to go cause they were on lunch from their job and were already late getting back due to waiting for checks to be brought and debit cards to be returned. We don't know why the cash payers couldn't get their change at the same time that the debit card payers got theirs cards back. But needless to say, the girl got probably a $40 tip that wasn't really earned. Those guys work hard to make a wage. And couldn't put jobs on the line to wait for their change. Even though they...
