Move over Caines, Layne’s is in town! If you enjoy Raising Cane’s this is a must stop. If you enjoy Chick-fil-A this is a must stop. Once you eat here it will become a regular stop off just like other well known fast food chains. I actually preferred Layne’s over Raising Cane’s and Chick-Fil-A. This chicken is super tender and moist. The breading is not overwhelming as it is just a vessel to hold the excellent sauces. Would recommend the jalapeño ranch sauce. If you try the Layne’s sauce don’t count it out as too peppery until you put it one the chicken fingers. It pairs nicely. The spicy chicken has great flavor not overpowering but has heat. The atmosphere was great and you could spend hours just chatting with friends because it has that cafe vibe a bit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pricing was good compared to the rising cost elsewhere. For 2 of us we got a 4 piece meal and a chicken club meal and the cost was $27. Less than $15 a person. Plenty of space to accommodate people with handicap needs, easy access from parking. The restaurant was clean and ready to serve. I will be...
Read moreFood is delicious, even though they got my order wrong... When I got home and bit into my sandwich it had Layne's sauce instead of the honey mustard I had asked for. It was still good, but a little disappointed by that. My kids enjoyed their food but one mentioned that they got Layne's sauce for their wrap instead of the honey mustard he requested also... so the sauces may be one of the most common mix ups currently. (It was rang in correctly so it was a back-of-house issue) Service is a little rough around the edges, I'm guessing due to it still being a freshly-opened location. The young girl taking my order had a hard time staying focused on what I was saying to her due a gentleman from the back coming up and talking to her about an order two seperate times and then due to another customer interrupting us. The building/atmosphere itself is nice. I enjoy the layout and the decor. We'll be back again after they've had a little more time to adjust....
Update: went again today, 3/18/2025... purchased the family pack through the drive-thru... not one single sauce I asked for...
Read moreI stopped by Layne’s Chicken Fingers in Warrenton on a whim today, and I’m so glad I did , this place seriously delivered! Hands down, these were some of the best chicken fingers I’ve ever had. I ordered the 5-piece combo with a mix of spicy and regular tenders, and both were fantastic. The spicy tenders had just the right amount of kick and were packed with flavor, while the regular ones were crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned.
Others in my party had the sandwiches and had great flavor as well.
The crinkle-cut fries were another pleasant surprise , hot, crispy, and seasoned just right. Definitely not your average side. I also tried the white gravy and honey mustard for dipping, and both added an extra layer of deliciousness. The white gravy was rich and creamy, and the honey mustard had a great balance of sweetness and tang.
Whether you’re a chicken finger fanatic or just in the mood for some comfort food done right, Layne’s in Warrenton is definitely worth the stop. I’ll be...
