UPDATE 4/26/21: Made another app order pickup this weekend, and the process went wayyyy smoother and without issue. Staff were friendly, and my order was given to me promptly and was correct. Perhaps last time they were cooking my chicken still, but it would have been nice to be made aware of that if that were the case. Anyway, I really appreciate this a lot after my last visit, so I'll boost it up to 5 stars now. I'll be back for sure!
ORIGINAL POST: I've been twice now, first visit was just fine but my most recent visit two nights ago I had a few issues. I ordered through the app, hoping that would speed up the process, and once at the drive thru I was instructed to wait off to the side and my food would be brought to me. Took around 15 to 20 minutes for my food to finally be given to me after all the other cars in the drive thru recieved their orders and were long gone. Then I found I was missing something I ordered. Drove back into the drive thru and finally was able to get my complete order. The guy who handed me my food both times seemed like he did not want to be there at all. No "sorry for the wait", no "sorry for the missing food", no apologies whatsoever. Just "here you go". Which just seems a bit off in terms of customer service. I get folks have off days, but man that was a lot of effort and time wasted (ended up being around 30 minutes total) for getting drive thru fast food. The food at least is good, no complaints at all there. Hopefully my future visits will be better overall though... Popeyes is a favorite...
Read moreOrdered through APP. Went in to pick up and they did not have the order. When I tried to show the manager, Mayra Sanchez, the screen grab from the APP, she refused to look at it. When I read the details, she told me that this store was 286 Broadview Ave in Warrenton and not the 288 Broadview Ave Warrenton that the APP showed. When I asked her 'what are we going to do to fix this?' she got belligerent and began to yell at me. Telling me I had to take care of it. She offered no solution or resolution. I understand that it was not her fault, but I had expected a store manager to at least try to offer some help to a customer who had proof of paying for an order that they did not receive. She didn't even offer to enter the order and have me pay for it there and try to recoup the APP order payment with corporate. Read moreWith all the hubbub about this spicy chicken sammich being better than Chik-Fil-A...I had to see what the hype was about. It was good, but definitely not good enough to get me to go out of my way to get one. We pulled up and the line for the drive through was wrapped all the way around the building. We opted to go inside and were excited to see only 2 people in line ahead of us. Unfortunately it still took 15 minutes before we were getting our order taken and another 10 minutes before we were eating. 3 registers, and only one open. As we waited to place our order, the line grew behind us even more. I could definitely tell the staff was overwhelmed and struggling to keep up. I will give them credit though, they were trying, they were just under staffed. It didn't look like the drive through line was moving any faster either.
Bottom line, sammich is good... but not good enough to drag me out of my way or to...
