El Agave I — Restaurant in Warrenton

Very disappointed. We used to go here often, but it has progressively gone down hill. Service is the worst part. I ate an entire meal without a drink refill. We got complimentary chips and ordered guacamole but never got a refill of chips to eat the guacamole. The food was incorrect and items were forgotten. When we complained about the food we were told it would be corrected on the bill. Then, when we went to pay, they declined our coupon because they already took a couple bucks off the bill for the uneaten mistake that they made. The food that was correct was not good to say the least. I feel robbed, I could have had better food at taco bell for half the price. I have been coming to El Agave with my family and friends for as long as I can remember, and I can't believe that I have yet to write a review for them. Obviously, I love it here. It is absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant in town, and probably my favorite restaurant in general because of the great atmosphere and amazing owners and staff. I have celebrated no less than 4 birthdays (for myself) here... and, yes, you HAVE to wear the sombrero!

Very good Mexican restaurant in Warrenton.

My family and I have eaten here twice: the first time was fantastic, the second just pretty good.

There is a wide variety of choices and the staff has been helpful and generally friendly. Our second visit was a very busy evening which slowed things down substantially. However, our secondary food choices (after the phenomenal first try) were less than impressive, dipping into the 'average' territory.

I will certainly go back: we love the atmosphere, drinks were pretty good and the staff is generally quite nice. It's not our favorite Mexican restaurant - not really a five-star place IMO - but as it's local, we'll return. If my opinion changes, I'll...
