Select Pizza | Grill — Restaurant in Warrington Township

First, I would like to preface this review by stating that I have tried to resolve this issue internally with the restaurant by using the contact forms which were referenced under other negative reviews as well as attempting to reach out by email. I never heard back from anyone and it has been over a month since this happened.

My partner and I came in on a Friday night for a big anniversary of ours which I made sure to make reservations for well in advance. For the reservations, I made sure to request booth seating as it provides much more comfort and privacy for us as this was a special night. We came in a couple minutes before our reservation and were told by a girl at the front desk that there were no booths right now but the people at them are paying and will be leaving shortly. She gave us the option to wait a couple minutes for a booth which we agreed to do. After waiting for almost 30 minutes and seemingly being forgotten about, they came up to us again and told us that we would not be seated at a booth due to larger parties needing them. If this was the case, then why were we told that we could wait for one and never receive it? It just seemed like a waste of time for us and did start the night off a little rough. We were then seated right next to another party in the middle of the room which was exactly what we wanted to avoid. Our very nice waitress even offered to seat us at a booth because there were 3 of them open right next to us when we were seated. She said she needed to check with the girls at the front desk and went to ask if we can be moved. From what we saw, the girls at the front had an attitude when our waitress asked them and were being very rude. Our waitress came back and said that they said they were reserved for larger parties. We accepted this and went along with ordering. After only a couple of minutes a party of two arrived and got seated right next to us in a booth right after we were told that they were only reserved for larger parties. This came off as the girls at the front were mocking us and really wasn’t something I would have expected.

I have come here countless times and made countless recommendations for others to come here. We chose Select Pizza as the destination for our special night and unfortunately we were treated to...

I received a gift card for this place and went with my wife and I a few weeks ago. It was very nice. They have a very unique menu with a little bit for everybody. They have great Pizza and burgers. I took my daughter 8 days ago and our waiter was fantastic. I wish I had remembered his name. He gave us his recommendations when we asked and he was right on target. I drink a lot of Iced Tea and my glass was never empty. He also had a confident swagger about him and was quick witted and conversational. I had a cheese steak with long hots. I also had these Mega Fries which were awesome! Very favorable. Another nice thing is it does not take forever to get your food. The timing is perfect. Somewhere between fast food and a leisurely pace. I went last night with my wife and when we were seated...we had the same waiter as last time. We looked through the menu and he asked what we wanted to order. We named our dishes (my wife ordered some sort of a chicken sandwich, I ordered a whiskey Burger and we ordered Truffle Fries as an appetizer). After he took our order he asked if we wanted anything else. I said knw and he said "you don't want any unsweetened Iced Tea?". He had remember what I was drinking from the week before. Now I am a simple man and maybe I impress easily, but that was fantastic! I felt like I mattered to him. That I wasn't just a customer patronizing the business where he worked but someone who was important to him. His service was excellent. One time, I was finishing my last gulp of tea and as I was putting the glass down, he was at the table taking it to be refilled. I was never without a cool beverage. I can tell you this, my family and I will be back (yes...I still have some gift card left). When we are out of the gift card we will still go there. And when you go there, make sure you ask for Kyle Rossi to be your server. He is absolutely one of the best we have ever...

Let me first off by saying been here alot of times for take out and tried their awesome bar last week. Staff is nice and food at the restaurant is top quality.

So maybe this review was on an off day yesterday.

I ordered take out for a party and it started off with a little trouble but I don't the blame the restaurant for this 1st issue. Their phone system was not working well so I couldnt get through a few times when i called and our call did cut off right near the end of the order. However the person on the other end was nice enough to reconfirm my order. Or so I thought.

Went to pick up the food and got home to our party only to find out the Pizza was missing half its toppings. I called back and was able to speak to their manager who was very accommodating and reviewed my order and was able to make a new pizza with the right toppings. What threw me off was they asked me for the incorrect pizza back. It wasnt an issue since I didn't touch the pizza but That's the first time I was requested to send back food. I believe it was explained that the manager wanted to show the chef his error which is fine but I that is not typically what I am use to. Usually the Pizza is comped or the incorrect Pizza is given free in addition to the new Pizza. Essentially I got the Pizza i ordered in the first place 30 mins later. Nothing really for the hassle of having my guests wait for an incorrect order.

Lol and the 2nd pizza i got also was still somewhat wrong but I chose not to make a big deal about it. It was missing ranch because it was a 1/2 chicke Bacon Ranch Pizza and 1/2 meat lovers.

Not sure how to feel as i said all the other times were great service in and out. But i was disappointed this time around. No hard feelings but just very disappointing from a service customer...
