This is hands down the best BBQ I have had in a very long time, and believe me when I say, we have tried a lot of BBQ! So glad it is here in Indiana, and we dont have travel to the South to get it. We are going to try everything on the menu, but what we have tried (burnt ends, brisket, pulled pork, egg rolls, mac and cheese, mac and cheese bites, onion rings, potato salad, Cowboy beans) has been nothing short of AMAZING!!!! You can tell there is so much thought put into the smoking process, and the flavors are perfect! Smoked to perfection...that smoke ring! The sides are also a great compliment to the main dishes. Usually you go to a BBQ place the meat is good, but the sides are just ho-hum. Not at Hogs R Wild! Just as much thought goes into those sides. The sauces are also really good! I’m only going to give this 1 star on the food and 2 stars on the service.

They offer their brisket at $21 a pound. If you ask them for a half a pound of brisket they will charge you $14 almost $15 with tax, and then explain to you later that they charge more for the half pound than they do for the full pound.

That was a hard enough pill to swallow, but then I only ended up with about a quarter pound of meat after pulling all the fat trimmings off of it.

Go visit Big Boss BBQ Steve at the parking lot of the old Marsh grocery store on Saturdays. He offers a full pound of his brisket post trim with barely any fat on it for $16 a pound and will sell you a half a pound at eight dollars a pound. You get all meat too! Take Me To Church!!! Holy cow let me tell you something. Stopped on my way home for some lunch for the S.O and myself. Got a pulled pork, small Mac and cheese, buffalo chicken wontons, and a turkey special sandwich and two dirt puddings for later. The better half loved his pulled pork and Mac and cheese.
