I visited McDonald's on last Tuesday evening, hoping for a quick and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected, and I felt compelled to leave a review to share my disappointment.
Upon entering, I immediately noticed that the restaurant was not up to standard in terms of cleanliness. The floors were sticky, and several tables had not been cleared or wiped down, leaving an unappealing first impression.
The staff appeared disinterested and disengaged. Despite there being no line, it took several minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence and take my order. The cashier was curt and seemed more focused on their conversation with a colleague than on providing good service.
When my order finally arrived, it was incorrect. I had asked for a Big Mac with no pickles and extra onions, but the sandwich came with pickles and no onions at all. Additionally, the fries were cold and tasted stale, as if they had been sitting out for a long time.
The overall quality of the food was extremely disappointing. The burger was sloppily put together, with ingredients unevenly distributed and the bun crushed. The taste was far from the usual standard I expect from McDonald's, making me question the freshness of the ingredients.
My drink was another point of contention. I had ordered a Coke, but it was flat and watery, lacking the carbonation and flavor one would expect. It was clear that the soda machine was not functioning properly or hadn't been maintained.
During my visit, I needed to use the restroom, and the state of it was appalling. The restroom was dirty, with trash overflowing and a foul smell lingering. It was evident that it had not been cleaned recently, which was unacceptable for a public establishment.
The waiting time for my food was unreasonable, especially given the few customers present. It took almost 20 minutes for my order to be prepared, which is excessive for a fast-food restaurant where quick service is expected.
What made the experience even worse was the lack of an apology or any form of compensation for the numerous issues. When I pointed out the problems with my order, the staff member simply shrugged and offered no resolution or replacement.
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was bleak. The combination of poor cleanliness, inattentive staff, and subpar food created an environment that was far from welcoming or enjoyable.
It's clear that the management at this location is not upholding the standards that McDonald's is known for. There seemed to be a lack of oversight and accountability, which was reflected in the poor performance of the staff and the state of the facilities.
I have visited numerous McDonald's locations over the years, and this experience was by far the worst. Other locations typically offer a much higher standard of service and quality, making this visit all the more...
Read moreOur experience here last night was absolutely HORRIBLE! November 5 about 7pm my husband and I had went and run errands and decided to grab the kids food since it was already getting late to cook dinner..First we decided to walk in since the drive thru was pretty long and we already had cranky kids. We had one lady in front of us and they had someone who just started and didn’t know how to do anything by hisself..which is not his fault at all! But he had no help at all and since it was taking about 25 minutes to order we decide to just go threw the drive thru since it has went down. We get up there to order and at the time we did not know that they changed the $3 bundle where you had to get a sandwich and medium frie instead of doing 2 medium fries like you could before...so after we had to repeat our order 10 times and and reassure everything was fine we get up and pay for our food..we pull up and see on our receipt they didn’t ring up two of the fries so we mention it ay the window when we go get our food...okay usually if we forget something or they don’t add something we can pay for it at the next window or they add it in for a mistake. Well the manager who was working .. a lady with brown hair in a pony tail told us we needed to go back around, wait in line and re order amd at this time there was a lot more people behind us from having to repeat our order so we asked her why we couldn’t just order there and we didn’t mind paying and she totally flipped out and cussed us out! She used every single cuss word she could at us! I am trying to find out who runs this McDonald’s and I would like to see something done because it was totally unacceptable! It was very unprofessional! We will not be going back to that McDonald’s I would so rather use the one off of 30 heading toward pierceton! But we were heading home and Detroit...
Read moreI've eaten here as a customer, and I've worked here. The food is bad. Like bad bad. Even for a mcdonalds. Every time I've eaten anything other than the nuggets, ive ended up with food poisoning. Which in turn made it so that I couldn't come in the next day, and what did they do in response? They'd cut hours. Massively. I went from 30ish hours a week, to TWO DAYS! Multiple times! Almost always for the same reason! It doesn't matter what you do here, the General Manager Melissa, is always gonna find a problem, whether youre a customer that was missing something in your order, to a single mother trying to make ends meet. Her narcissistic behavior is beyond toxic. She talks to employees like they're trash, talks to customers with complaints like theyre garbage, and thats not even getting into the "health stadards" in the kitchen. The kitchen is always coated in LAYERS of uncleaned, crusty, dried grease. The floor under the drink machine at the drive through window is literally falling apart and coated in mold and mildew. The place is disgusting. The fry warmer that we're supposed to take apart, has YEARS of buildt up grease on it. At this point they're spraying the surface layer of grease clean instead of actually scrubbing it. They do the same with the vents. Its disgusting. Please, for the sake of your health, and the health of your loved ones, DO...
