Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Warsaw

Food was ok. I ordered the half rack of ribs with the chicken tenders' plate with the 2 sides. My fries I got loaded and were overall salty from the seasoning, so I didn't eat to many of those. The rack of ribs was SUPER small compared to how they usually are and not to mention I almost broke a bracket on my braces due to the very end of the ribs having a chunk of bone, not a typical rib bone it was more a triangle piece. I also ordered the salad with my meal as another side and that was good. The chicken tenders were much smaller than they use to be as well (this meal is typically what I get when I go to Texas Roadhouse, so I was honestly shocked). Overall, I give my food a 3 star, but the service and atmosphere were good. We came for my mom's birthday which also ended up being the day that the snowstorm came through northern Indiana and not very many people were out, so it was nice getting in and seated and served quickly. Our server did check up on us fairly often and did come with extra rounds of rolls when they were needed. I hope that Texas Roadhouse in general starts paying attention to what they are ordering. Smaller portions of everything aren't going to be worth the cost of $17.99. I always order water now due to the cost of drinks these days. Just really hope one of my usual favorite places to dine in doesn't start going downhill like some other restaurants. This store also isn't the one that is closest to my house. We were in town for a hair appt, and wanted to take my mom for birthday lunch her choice and this location was the one she chose. Keep your servers doing well, but make sure the quality and freshness of food that is coming out...

I went to Texas Roadhouse for a special occasion and was greatly disappointed.Within the party of four one meal was a 23 oz Porterhouse that looked great on one side and the other side was (a third) was well burnt.The other two dishes had a combo with ribs which were burnt.The fourth meal was satisfactory.The server also agreed the food was burnt and did not ask to take away or inform manager.We finally got the attention of someone monitoring the customer satisfaction.This person did not have tag with manager but was performing in this capacity it seemed.Our server was a nice young (inattentive)lady that seemed to be enjoying someone’s new born baby in her arms….at work!

We received another Porterhouse (to go) and also another two ribs servings.The (mgr) was somewhat apologetic.I did not feel I should pay the full price for the meals which were sub par to the advertised product.And unsightly! I asked for a discount in which the (mgr) agreed to somewhat reluctantly.Our (new) ribs were in to go boxes as we chose.For some reason (commotion) we did not look at ribs until arriving home.We soon seen the rib portions that replaced the burnt ribs were also burnt.I don’t normally write reviews but this was a disappointing meal for a special occasion. It wasn’t really busy.It seems with many places they blame the “new cook”.I thought before food is presented to customer it’s looked at least to be presentable! This place is rated well, and was very busy on Friday night. We waited for 45 minutes... However I'm not sure why. The steaks were beyond horrible. We ordered medium well and they came out charred... So charred that when the server brought them out, she said she had already put in an order for more because she knew we wouldn't be able to cut very much of it. The second one they brought out to redeem themselves should have been thrown in the trash as well. I ordered the chicken breast and it was coated in barbecue sauce that had a bunch of weird fibery chunks in it. When I asked them if it was baked beans or some kind of beans, they said they didn't serve baked beans. That was even more of a horrific thought, because nobody could identify what the weird chunks were. The vegetables were even disgusting. The carrots were not cooked at all and appeared dried out like they had been sitting on a counter for a week. When I complained to the manager, and she also could not identify what was in the bbq sauce, she listened and walked away from the table without apologizing or anything. She comp'd $10 off the meal of $150. I will never be back. NEVER. No one in our party of 4 had a good experience, and they agreed as well that they would never return.
