Anios Restaurant — Restaurant in Washington Charter Township

Every time I'm in the Romeo area I make sure to stop at Anios for a meal. The food is excellent and reminds me of my grandma's cooking. Nostalgia aside, the staff is friendly and the owners are a real delight.

But I'm not here to write about the dining experience at Anios. You can read the many five star reviews already out there about that.

Last weekend we were hosting some family from our of town and decided to look for a caterer. My wife wisely asked, "Does Anios cater?" Turns out, THEY DO! And let me tell you, I am so happy she asked that question, because not only was the food just as good as it is when you dine in, but now I have a reliable go-to place for future catering orders. My guests loved the food and couldn't stop talking about it!

This place is known for its Polish food and everything would have been just perfect except for the fact that every single item on my plate was extremely salty! You could tell this food was going to be fantastic except it was so salty and I did not want to complain in front of the people I was with! I took it home and I still couldn't fix it! In the future I would like to try this place again, because it has so much potential! One of my friends said it was the best chicken noodle soup she ever had! Everything was made from scratch, so I will try this place again!! Three out of four of us had the same entrée and we all agreed it was too salty, but the last person ordered liver and onions and she said it was fantastic! Like I said, we will definitely try again! I meet up with my siblings on Sunday mornings and we enjoy greatly an excellent breakfast/brunch. They do have sandwiches and nice dinner entrees, but it's the omelets and pancakes that we go there for. They put a bit of Polish flare into some of the dishes. I get the Polish breakfast plate which also makes Mon day's perfect lunch at work. UPDATE12-13-25: Went again today and yep, had the Polish breakfast plate. Which means I have a great lunch for Monday and Tuesday. Always filling, always delicious, fresh cut veggies and cooked perfectly with excellent attention to every customers wants. Never a dry coffee cup or glass of water. I'll be back on a chilly January...
