We called ahead and asked what time they were opening on Sunday. They had told us 11am. When we arrived at 11:30am, the doors were still locked, so we called again and they said "give us 5 minutes and we will open up".

We sat down and ordered our meals. We had all ordered house salads, which come with a bread stick. They brought our salads out and said they are still working on the bread sticks. If you open at 11am, why wouldn't you have prepared bread sticks ahead of time?

Next, I ordered a Patty Melt sandwich. I had asked for medium cooked. I received my patty melt and started eating it. The meat was well done, extremely dry. Not to mention, the bread was burnt, and the fries tasted stale, hard, and old.

We had also ordered a Rodeo Burger, asked for medium cooked, and it too, came out well done and dry.

After that, we had complained to the waitress, who definitely did her job. She had went and told the manager about how upset we were. We waited about 5-10 minutes, and she came back stating "we will give you a 25% discount". Now, how come the manager never came out to ask why we were upset?

Anyways, the manager finally made his way over to our table. He had this "tough guy" mentality immediately and came off extremely defensive and arrogant. We had explained that we were upset and a 25% discount was not suitable. He would not listen and kept talking over us rudely.

I have just never witnessed a manager that treated their customers with such disrespect. Not to mention, after we complained to him about how we called ahead to see what time they were open, and someone stated 11am. He said, "Yea that was me, and I lied...people make mistakes...we actually open at noon". If you are running a restaurant, wouldn't you know your hours of operation?? After that, then he had the nerve to say "We opened up early for you guys".

Just nothing but excuses and nonsense coming out of this unprofessional, rude, arrogant manager's mouth.

After we called him out for being basically an ass, he then decided to comp us for our whole meal.

Lets just say, we will not be...

The pizza at times is among the best in the area. However, you have to order extra sauce to actually get enough sauce to taste it on the pizza, which is a drag considering they ding you $3.50 (I think) for extra sauce. Totally lame. That's bad enough. My last visit they completely lost me. I ordered extra sauce on my pizza, was charged for it, and very definitely didn't get it. If anything, I'd say it was actually LIGHT sauce if anything. I complained to the waitress and considering what they charge for extra sauce, my complaint was very valid. I didn't expect them to make me another; I very reasonably asked to just send me a little side of extra sauce and I'd be happy enough (although I'd rather have had it on the pizza like I had ordered it). The ridiculous waitress told me that she could get me "another" thing of extra sauce but that she would have to charge me again! I lifted the cheese for her and you could kind of see remnants of sauce but it clearly was definitely not extra sauce. She stubbornly maintained her position and made it clear she was not at all interested in advocating for me. "So in other words I have to pay $7 to get sauce on my pizza?" I asked astounded. I continued to press the matter and she dropped the extra sauce charge off my tab which made it better but I don't get why she just couldn't have grabbed me some sauce from the back and I resented the resistance she gave me over the matter, as it seemed such a reasonable remedy. If you can get sauce on your pizza (or prefer light sauce), the pizza is absolutely outstanding; if you don't like dry pizza, be prepared to pay and then get resistance about getting what...

I forgot my credit card and called the store to ask if they had my card and the older lady that answered the phone told me "I'm too busy to look, call back when we are not busy" then made out like it's my problem. Didn't take my number to call me back or nothing. Last I checked she wasnt too busy to answer the phone to take a order for a costomer but too busy to look to see if they had my credit card. I'm still a costomer as far as I'm concerned and I dont know if this establishment heard of "customer service" before. I then called back again to ask for the manager and the same lady answered the phone. She told me "she can't get the manager". Then I asked why not, then she replied " He isnt here right now". I then asked when is the manager coming in and she replies "I don't know". How do you not know? Then she says "well he is here but, I'm too busy to get him". Then I told her "go get him" and she hung-up on me. After, all this I finally went into the establishment to ask for the manager and once again she went up to me yelling at me saying I was rude and telling me all about her stresses she was under. After that the manager Mike finally came out and i got my credit card back and told him this story. I appreciate mike taking the time to listen to me and I appreciate him offering me a beer and a free meal. However, I'm going to have to respectfully decline. I won't eat at this establishment again due to the rude service. I believe this older woman behind the bar is so use to people sucking up to her that when I didn't bend down and kiss her feet she couldn't control her emotions. I didnt know the office pub hires only fan...

Thee Office Pub & Cookery in downtown Romeo has been open since 1980 - this downtown area is unique in that it has never had a major fire, so the historic buildings and details have survived from pre-Civil War time period. The pub side of Thee Office is so gorgeous 🥹 #theeofficepub #romeomichigan #historicbuildings #michigan #bars

Jam packed on a Friday night at 6pm, but we only waited less than 10 minutes to be seated out to n the front sidewalk patio (our preference). Very loud inside with well over 150 patrons I'd guess. Park in the lot in the back and go in the back door as that's where the hostess station is. Service was very prompt and the food was hot, especially since it was so crowded .. they must have a huge kitchen with lots of staff. All the items on the menu looked so good, we ordered their shrimp appetizer which was oh so yummy and spicy. We generally stay away from appetizers, (money and calories). Kathy's main dish was a cranberry/nut salad (low calorie good girl dish) and mine was the beer battered cod with a side of creamy Cole slaw (yummy) and a side of Mac N Cheese (Xtra yummy). Our drinks were water with lemon and our total bill was $40. Romeo is a great old town with lots of eclectic shops and stores, great for going on a stroll either before or after your meal. Check it out next time you're looking for something to do!

Heard good things about this place but underwhelmed overall. Maybe it was an off day. Ordered steak bites and pickle chips as apps and they came out with the entrees. Steak bites were a little tough with maybd a frozen at some point taste and the come in demi-glace which is fancy gravy I guess. ? Not a fan. Picked chips were OK. Got some French onion soup which comes in a bowl not a crock and looks rough and doesn't taste much better. Broth reminded us of Ramen noodles, not much onion, needs work. Cuban sandwich was alright but far from a true Cuban sandwich. Person pizza was good. Creme brulee cheesecake has nothing that reminiscent Creme brulee. Just store bought tasting with mehh caramel sauce drizzled on top. Will try again and see if it was just an off day.
