Good Time, But a Few Bumps Along the Way We had been told by numerous friends to come check this place out, so we finally did — and overall, it was a good experience. Service: Hands down, the service was amazing. The staff was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout. Food: • We started with the mozzarella sticks. They needed a couple more minutes in the fryer — a bit undercooked. • I ordered the Romeo Patty Melt. The meat was perfectly cooked, but the bread was soaked in grease. I get it — bar food — but still a bit much. • The fries were crazy salted. We paid $4 extra to swap chips for fries and got what felt like a baby-sized portion. Thankfully, they did replace them (for both me and my wife), so props for that. • My wife had the buffalo chicken wrap. It looked picture-perfect, but the buffalo flavor was missing. It happens. • The kids had pizza and chicken tenders. The cheese on the pizza tasted a little off, but nothing major. Atmosphere: The theater setup is very cool, definitely a fun place to hang out. Beer: Absolute 10/10 — no complaints there! In short: great service, awesome beer, fun vibe — just some inconsistencies with the food. Would we come back? Yeah, probably, but we’d be a bit more selective on what we order next time.

Main Street has become our favorite place to eat in Romeo. The filet is out of this world and cooked perfectly, they did a better job than most high end places I have been to recently and the presentation is spot on. The soups are always amazing and the salads are my absolute favorite, I love how they chop them. The quality and portion fit the prices here. We have never had a bad meal. The tater tot appetizer and potstickers are two of my favorite appetizers. Last night the tater tots were a little over loaded with onions but still delicious. Our waitress we had last night is always the sweetest and very attentive, didn't catch her name but her grandma's recipe for their bread pudding is one of the desserts. Normally I take pictures of the food but had my phone away to enjoy a dinner with the kids. UPDATED ADDING PHOTOS FROM LAST NIGHT!

Since moving back to the Washington area last summer, Main Street Bar in Romeo has quickly become my go-to spot. Growing up in Shelby Twp, I didn't visit Romeo much, but I'm happy I found this local gem. Main Street Bar has a great vibe that makes you feel welcome right off the bat. They've got an impressive selection of craft cocktails, and as someone who's quite picky about their old fashioned, I can vouch that theirs is spot-on. But it’s not just about the drinks—the food, especially the pizza and pierogi, is outstanding and ranks among my favorites. What really ties it all together for me is the staff. They’re friendly and attentive, making every visit more enjoyable. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's the kind of spot that makes you glad you decided to check it out.🥃🍻🥂🍹🍕

We have been going to Main Street ever since the new owner took over. The food was always good and the atmosphere is “corner bar” feel. We generally go at least once a month. Over the last year or so we have noticed the food is not like it used to be. On our most recent visit April 18 we started ordering the chicken wings. My wife and I had separate orders and when I took the first two bites I noticed they were very chewy. Since it was dark inside I used my phones light to see what was wrong w the wings and they were totally raw inside, I mean to the point of being bloody, my wife’s were the same. I should have taken a picture but didn’t, since I didn’t think I would be posting this because I generally like the place and the owner Christoff and didn’t want to leave any negativity The waitress came over and we showed her the wings and she quickly apologized and said this shouldn’t have happened and said “I’ll show these to the owner” A few minutes later Christoff walked over and said “ is there a problem here?” I explained what happened with the wings and said “I hope I don’t get sick from eating those wings”. Christoff replied “don’t worry we cook them to 165 degrees, they weren’t raw, that was just a blood vein, I’d eat them . I’ll take them off your bill”. Wtf. Not only did we get two orders of raw wings the owner tries to tell us we don’t know what we are talking about. Our dinners came out which were average the waitress sent us a round of drinks because she felt bad Needless to say we won’t be back. There are several choices within 2 miles. It is not the fact that the kitchen made a mistake but the way the owner handled the situation was poor. Trying to tell us we don’t know what we were talking about and oh by the way we paid for the rest of the meal and drinks and left a 20% because it wasn’t the...

With new owners, Main Street established itself to being the best restaurant to eat, drink & socialize in Romeo. They by far, care & love their customers & extend themselves to make their business successful. Then the new owners, very smart, wanted to elevate their establishment to new levels, & boy did they. They hired a brand new manager, David, who made IT BETTER, if that was even possible. He established a new, professional environment, that was friendly, & inviting yet with firm expectations. David’s entire staff is extremely kind, & serves the patrons at a high level of efficiency. Listening to his patrons, David created a classy drink menu that can not be surpassed, monthly, delectable food specials that keep us frequenting, & then his Lions Football Sundays Special Menu that have the exact “comfort” food to get you through a victory. Overall, the food & service are now the best in Romeo. David & his bartending & cooking staff, Colette, Joanne, Maty, Kelly, Lilly, & Ashley are the MAIN reasons we love coming to MAIN STREET! Thank you to...
