*Second update lowering review from 3 stars to 1 (zero edits to below aside from the 2 to 3 tables that I admitted I may have overlooked). The owner starts DMing me on Instagram, continuing to accuse me of giving false info, even saying I never went to the shop, which I did. Look at the Google photos of the menu and everything shows sugary or caffeinated drinks. I sent him pics of my Instagram comment and the lack of a notification. Then he twists my words, saying I "messaged" them on Instagram. The other 1 star review is absolutely correct about the passive aggressiveness. You don't harass customers accusing them of lying when you're the one making false accusations with no apologies.
*UPDATED to reflect the 3rd table i must've missed when i went.
re: owner's reply. Matcha and Chai are both caffeinated. Every non-caffienated option mentioned below is sweetened. If there's a menu option I'm not seeing, happy to be proven wrong. A circular table has less space compared to a square shape. And no bathrooms means you can only stay until you cant hold in any longer...and i also reached out via IG before posting this w/ no response*
Really was hoping this shop would have an option to sit down and do some work like their old location (some pics on Google are outdated).
But sadly they cater to takeaway only, with only 3 small, circular tables and not even a bathroom. They don't have any truly caffeine free, no sugar options either since decaf still has a tiny bit of caffeine and no teas available.
As a fully remote worker, it can be tough to find good work spots and was hopeful at first but disappointed in their atmosphere, which is the most important element imo. Brewed awakening in pitman does atmosphere well and it shows in their business results if the Blended Joe owners are...
Read moreOn my way to work, I enjoyed the BEST coffee. Yes, I’m getting right to it. Blended Joe prepared - by far - the best cup of coffee this realtor has ever had.
Sharing space with another business can be extremely challenging when branding yourself as a separate entity. I have followed their journey from the renovation (always hunting for new cafes), and to be honest, even though pizza is my favorite food group and coffee is my favorite beverage, the two together may have first deterred me from visiting. Unless of course it’s breakfast pizza and coffee.
Don’t let this happen to you because I almost missed having the best coffee of my life.
Walking in I wasn’t sure what to expect and really had no time to really process expectations because Joe himself greeted me with such a welcoming energy, I was already hooked.
After a great conversation, I learned that the coffee is freshly made in his warehouse. There are tons of blends to choose from - where I promptly asked for the most popular one (Everyday Joe). And of course, I couldn’t leave without my favorite flavor - French Vanilla. He mentioned that there was no added sugars (win!).
He has a couple blends on tap each day. I was very brave in trying something off my normal path and ordered the Swiss Chocolate Almond (did I mention this was the best cup of coffee I have ever had??).
On top of being a coffee genius, Joe is a huge supporter of local businesses. He has displays of goods for sale and cross-promotes where he can.
I’m just about out of coffee, so it’s time for another visit to restock. If you like coffee, Blended Joe should definitely be on your list. Did I mention this is best coffee I ever had? Lol. And I drink it black, so you could imagine the delicious concoctions he puts...
Read moreI went to this establishment the other morning to see what the hype was about. I am all about supporting new small businesses! I am a huge Matcha drinker. I love it hot, cold, frap.... you name it! Well, I decided on the cold Matcha. The cashier asked me if I wanted some cold foam, which was new for me. I told her to surprise me because well, let's live a little! That, and it allows their team to be creative. She chose the strawberry! I will tell you right now that this was by far the best Matcha I have ever had. I'm a pretty straight forward person, and will tell you exactly how I feel. That Matcha was AMAZING! I also got a donut for my kid. I asked the cashier which would be the best pastry for a kid. Again, I wanted her expertise. I didn't taste it because well.... calories. My son took one bite and said, MOM WHAT IS THIS?!!!! I chuckled and told him. It was the Vanilla something or other (not very helpful, sorry). I think it's safe to say he enjoyed it! This is kind of a hike for me, but I will be back at some point. I'm not a coffee drinker, so you'll never catch me sipping on that. But that Matcha.... YUMMY!!!!! Also adding that the place was meticulous. I am a stickler for establishments looking clean and orderly. This place had that! It's the attention to detail that did it for me! Kudos for seeing the importance of keeping everything...
