October 2022 update:

We actually wound up throwing it in the trash. Over $30 dollars down the drain. What a waste.

Dry and sickeningly sweet.

What happened? We ordered the same birthday cake that we ordered last year and it's absolutely awful. I would have done better with a shoprite cake for less money.

The chocolate cake was dry and flavorless and I don't even know if they actually use cream cheese frosting because it tasted like shortening and sugar.

I'm just glad we got the smaller one this year.

Octpber 2021: Ordered a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting.

The chocolate cake was moist and perfect and actually tasted like chocolate! Same with the cream cheese frosting, it actually tasted like cream cheese.

The best part of the cake was that it wasn't too sweet, so the flavor was actually able to come through.

The young lady who served me behind the counter was very sweet and when she found out that the cake was both for my mother and my birthdays and wished me a happy birthday.

I bought an Italian rum birthday cake on June 2019. To my disappointment it was soggy and tasted watery. I hardly tasted the flavor. I am sorry for writing a bad review but I am sure it gives an opportunity for the bakery to improvise. For those who wants to give it a try good luck please check with baker for the taste of the cake before you buy it. I did not taste it before buying my fault. I also would like to add that I did not order it ahead and picked up the cake that was available readily in the counter. It could be the reason why it was soggy as it was sitting there for few days. What can I say about Nino? first of all he’s a loving, caring person who generally wants his clients to be happy and that’s a rare find these days. he’s the kind of business owner that makes you feel like family when you walk in and when you leave you have a sense of peace because you know that you’re going to be treated exactly the way you’d like to be treated. Besides the treatment the pastries are out of this world delicious and the amarettti cookies while I’m daydreaming about them as we speak.
