Wish I could leave a zero star review.
I'm honestly very surprised. I read the reviews and noticed that there has been a consistent effort to convince customers that were unhappy with their experience via the owners of Aurora's Bistro to give Tuscan Bistro a try, now owned by a new family.
I feel like I have been taken advantage of, and I have definitely been ripped off. I ordered the chicken Romano, which I recall from the menu as chicken breast sauteed with ham, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese, served with your choice of pasta and blush sauce. I have received none of these in my order, besides only the penne pasta with sauce that I ordered it to be served with, the salad, soup and garlic bread.
I left a great tip to the driver that delivered my food, and I counted on Tuscan Bistro to provide me with my order properly, that I spent good money on (even regardless of doordash fees) and was looking forward to my experience as a first time customer.
The food that I have looks and tastes great, but sadly, as far as I'm concerned at this point, the 35+ dollars I've spent may as well have been thrown into a garbage can, while I scrounge through my pantry searching for food to cook in order to supplement my incomplete order. I was looking forward to supporting great local business, especially in the midst of the current state of affairs here in Washington Township. Read moreThis place is horrible and tells all lies before I bought Groupon I spoke to manager directly and he said he would reserve us a table and it would be for dining in not once he said it was for dining food only. The total bill was $68.75 and our Groupon was for sixty dollars. He then said how he spends so much money on Groupon which is not my problem like I told him .He never called authorities I asked him to call them. And get it right we ordered two dinners ,soup ,hot wings, and and wrap. We were the only ones in restaurant besides two other tables . We traveled a half hour away if that was the case that we could only order dinners why didn't he tell us that when we placed order instead he told us when we were ready to pay for our food. We had to buy two more dinners which I threw in the trash because he went back threre when they were preparing our food in order to take our Groupon. I don't steal from no one instead u stold from us by making us buy extra food . Anyone with intelligence will see how true this review is . And I will never come to a classless place like this ever again . My experience was so bad I was not going to use Groupon again but I said they were the ones that gave us such a bad experience so I tried it again last night and the place was amazing and he said on Groupon it's for dining in but u can take out and order what ever you like . Read moreWent to Tuscan Bistro tonight for Valentine’s Day with my special friend and I’m so happy we did! Clean environment, friendly service, and delicious food. One of the co-owners, Miguel, was walking around saying hello and seating customers while his daughter, Karen, was a server; the epitome of family owned and ran!
I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The music wasn’t too loud or too quiet and you could see the waiters behind the counter diligently sanitizing the menus between each use which I appreciated! They also used nice white clean table cloths on all the tables and changed them after each use which was a nice change in quality from our normal take out dates on the couch in the house.
I was tempted to order pizza since I know they do an amazing job over at their other store, Tuscan Pizza, but we stuck to their bistro menu tonight. We ordered the calamari which was very crispy! I ordered the shrimp francese which was a nice mix of creamy and lemony/tangy. My boyfriend ordered the eggplant rollatini and said it was creamy and done well.
