This place is always extremely busy when I come here in the morning, and I'm not quite sure why because each time I've been forced to visit I've received what I could describe as pretty subpar service. For example today I came and ordered a caramel macchiato and a breakfast sandwich. Got the sandwich right away, and then I waited in the Drive-Thru for the drink. And waited, and waited, and waited and was given no explanation as to why it was taking so long for them to fix my drink. My only suspicion is that they had accidentally made an iced one because I was given a straw for no apparent reason. Needless to say it took probably 6 or 7 minutes for anybody to even acknowledge me, let alone hand me a drink. This wouldn't have bothered me except there was no apology or even acknowledgement for the amount of time I had to wait or anything. When I said "Thank you" after being given the drink nobody said anything back to me and just shut the window so I drove off. I won't be going there again (I've only gone a handful of times because of necessity and because it's the closest coffee shop on my way to work). I did find out that there's another Tim Hortons on the other side of my work so I'll probably be going there to see if I can get some better service. If not, I guess I'll be done with Tim Horton's overall. I hate giving reviews that are low just based on service, but this isn't the first time this level of service has been provided by this particular location....
Read moreANOTHER UPDATE 4-15-24 (since I can’t do another review) I went by with a coupon for a free hot chocolate. When I got home, it was watery. So I went back to the restaurant and asked for a replacement. They asked me if I had called first and I said no. Then they asked if I had a receipt, which obviously I didn’t because it was free with the coupon. So they said there was nothing they could do because I had not called and did not have a receipt. But I still had the hot chocolate. What happened to common sense?!?
UPDATE 2023: I reached out to corporate about my concern per there comments below and they did nothing to address it. So my complaint is unresolved.
I went through drive through and had a coupon for $1 off my order. When they scanned it, it did not take the $1 off, even though I had just activated the coupon and it had not expired. I asked the drive through person how to fix the problem and she said "I don't know." So I left and called the store. The first time, someone answered and hung up. The 2nd and 3rd times nobody answered. The 4 th time someone answered, I asked for a manager, she stated she was amanager but refused to identify herself, and after hearing my concern, put the phone down for several minutes (I thought she was looking into the situation) and then she hung up. So horrible service in drive through, horrible phone service, I paid too much for my order, and there is nobody who can fix...
Read moreRude customer service!!!!! I stopped by Tim Hortons on the way to work today 2/10/24. Order donuts and an iced mocha to go...... I nicely request a refund because the coffee wasn't what I expected. So I parked and went inside, the girl behind the counter gave the guy at the window (btw I hope he wasn't the manager....smh) my debit card to process my refund 8:40am....I waited close to 10 minutes or longer. Meantime I requested my card back by 2 other employees to let him know "I was running of time & wanted my debit card" STILL no response! He continued to wait on customers at the window holding on to my card in the meantime while I'm just standing there. Finally I got back in my car drove around to the window and politely asked for my debit card when I got to the window he reluctantly took at least 3 more orders BEFORE he even "processed my card" after all this time! Now its 8:55 a.m. I ended up late for work and received a phone call from my manager as I was driving to my job concerned because I had NOT clocked in. I told the guy at the window he had no reason to ignore me and all I wanted was a refund or at the very least return my debit card so I can be on my way. He was rude and UNEMPATHETIC! Actually, pathetic best describes his behavior . His so-called apology was cold and insincere. I told him he was not sorry and didn't care.
