Terrible experience. Multiple things wrong.
1.) kids menu says it includes a free drink. I got my daughter hot chocolate and found out when I got my bill that hot chocolate wasn’t included. I double checked the adult and kids menu, twice, and no where does it say that in writing that hot chocolate wasn’t included.
Also they advertise that they give maple syrup. When the kids meal arrived it had some cheap hotel brand syrup while the adults meals for maple syrup. And the kids meal also had fake butter while the adults received freshly scooped whipped butter.
2.) The hot chocolate tasted like cheap chocolate powder mixed with water.
3.) Overpriced for what you get. Portion sizes are medium/small for the $10-12 + drinks ($2.59).
4.) The bacon tasted like someone poured salt all over it after burning it
5.) Eggs tasted dry and rubbery
6.) A different waitress started mopping and dragging chairs around at 12:20pm right next us when they closed at 2:00pm. They were trying to close our section down I think?! Not sure why
7.) bit on something hard when eating my sausage (appeared to be a piece of bone fragment or something) which hurt my tooth
Suggestjons: update your menu with correct wording (if it excludes an item then don’t advertise it) and go a little easier on the salt for your bacon. Your prices are a bit high for the quality of food...
Read moreFirst impression: There was no hostess to greet the customers so we waited until a waitress yelled from across the restaurant that she’d be right with us. I saw multiple customers seat themselves. Not quite sure if this is the new policy, but it wasn’t previously so we waited to be seated. When we arrived there were maybe 6 people seated in the restaurant.
Service: Extremely slow. Had to wait almost 10 minutes to have our order taken, meanwhile 2 tables who arrived after us had already been given coffee and had their orders taken. Then we waited even longer for our food to arrive. My son ate his whole bag of Cheerios in the time we were waiting. When our food arrived my son’s pancake was burned on the bottom so I had to peel the top part off so he could eat it. I didn’t send it back because we had already been there for an hour at this point and I wasn’t sure how much longer my 15 month old could wait and sit quietly. Also, there was no whole milk offered, only 2%. My omelette was okay, lukewarm and much smaller than I remember from past visits. I asked for no toast so the waitress said she’d bring extra fruit, but it was forgotten.
It’s been about a year since we visited last but I don’t think we’ll be returning...
Read moreThis was my nephews favorite brunch/blunch/lunch place until this experience. Not only did they get his order wrong and attempted to correct it, they forgot the recipe apparently (since my nephew is a regular here) and it tasted off/irregular to him. Maybe the pressure was too much for the kitchen staff. They need the “Rocky” theme to playing on repeat in the kitchen to help the morale. I knew the over-enthusiastic “Hellooooooo” by the waitress meant they were trying to overcompensate for the inadequacies of their kitchen staff. I had the “avocado Benedict” which was quite good actually, wife had the same and she really liked it too. I did sample the “cinnamon roll pancakes” and if you’re into the sweet cinnamon tooth, this would certainly do the trick for you. Its a bland plain Jane decor, there was nothing unique about the place which would want me to visit it again, coffee was mehhh.... I do appreciate some consistency in my food and my hash browns and the wife’s hash browns were very different. Her’s were quite crispy (which I appreciate) but mine were super soft and on the complete other end of the spectrum. For the record I did not complain to the manager and paid for the...
