Angelico Pizzeria — Restaurant in Washington

Ordered take out well in advance (at least 2 hours in advance) and was told that it would be ready before the pick up time. When I showed up, nobody was at the front. I saw that people in the back clearly saw me. Nobody came up front to assist. So after waiting 5 mins, asked if anybody could help and that I had ordered pick up. They said that somebody would come up front. Waited probably another 10 mins. Inly when the phone rang, did somebody come up to answer. I told the guy that I had ordered pick up. He finally checked and said that it was ready. ??? Why make someone wait for takeout when it was ready? What's with the lack of customer these days? I thought the food industry was suffering. Apparently these guys are doing well enough not to take care of...

We like Angelico's pizza. It's just that, like others here have said, there's often something wrong with the order. Usually, we just live with it. Tonight, we paid for two XL pizza's and were delivered two large pizzas. I called and all I got from the guy who answered the phone was argument about how he could not have been wrong because he'd filled the order himself. First he said that we'd ordered large pizzas and that's what we got. When I asked him to look at the receipt, which showed that we were charged for two XL pizzas, he changed his mind and said that's what we got. I gave up. We heard a lot of good things about this place and our expectations were pretty high but sadly we end up very disappointed. We had 10 Angelico's Wings and they were awful, not cooked all the way through. My wife's Fettucino Alfredo was very creamy and bland. Apart from the food been unpleasant, the person working there by the name of Alex is absolutely nasty. He was touching his noise while handing people's pickup orders, and didn't even bother to wear a mask nor wash his hands. He has a very bad attitude, unprofessional, and needs to either work on his work ethics or simply be replaced. We will give this place another try...
