Bluestone Lane Scott Circle Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Washington

This place was severely understaffed and packed. 20 mins after ordering we got one of the three items we ordered. Waited around some more and then were told they don't have the food item we ordered so they just made something else instead, and asked if that's fine. Well not really, this is something they should ask before making a replacement. Then still waiting around some more for our 2nd coffee. What's the point of placing the order together if it won't be made together. The girl making the coffee was very rude, unapologetic and kept saying it's not their fault because there is only 2 of them working all day. I understand her frustration, but it's not our fault. Clearly a case of a company that overcharges for everything and wants to spend the bare minimum hiring staff. Won't be back at any bluestone. Oh and I had to pay TWICE, because they canceled my order due to the food situation. Couldn't provide a receipt to show they had refunded the first because they couldn't figure out how to print it. So I've now paid $30 for coffee and I'm not sure any of it was refunded, they were so disorganized I'm not sure I will be...

I am staying at the Darcy Hotel. I wanted some breakfast, so I decided to grab a meal at this location due to its convenience. The young man who took my order was very pleasant, as well as the young lady making the coffee. The place is clean and well-organized. I ordered the protein pack bowl. When I read the ingredients, I thought it would be delicious—a poached egg, smoked salmon, tomatoes, feta cheese, spinach, and avocados.

However, the execution was horrible!!! The smoked salmon was gross, and the avocado tasted acidic, like it was prepackaged and not fresh at all. The best thing on the plate was the poached egg. When I spoke to the person in charge of making my meal, she was super rude and nasty. She said, "You want a refund?" and I said, "No, I want you to take your job seriously and serve quality food."

I wouldn’t ever go back for a meal there. I might go for coffee, but that's it. It’s a shame because this place has potential. They need a cook who cares about the quality of food being served to...

We waited 30 minutes for our drinks then an additional hour for our food. I overheard Malikh interact with another customer who was asking about tea and he replied “we don’t have tea we’re a coffee shop” in a very rude voice. When I asked Malikh about our order he replied “you’re just going to have to wait a minute.” Alright… I waited 60. Immediately after I had that interaction our food came out and the lady who brought it out was very nice and apologized. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name I would like to give her a shout out. My husband and I were so hungry we didn’t notice the order was messed up. He just received an egg sandwich when it was supposed to be a egg/bacon croissant. Food was alright otherwise, a little overpriced, you just need to work on customer service skills.
