Dionne’s Good Food — Restaurant in Washington

Came by Dionne's before attending a Mystics game and it's the best decision I ever made! Don't walk there run there. Like right now. So good! And the Sycamore & Oak is just so cool - you have to go check it out.

Environment This establishment is located in the Sycamore & Oak community space which is beautiful within itself. If you're not interested in food just go check out the space for all it has to offer - from clothing, to events like karaoke and speaking engagements or just to hang out with friends or even to get some work done - a great beautiful space. Dionne's is located in what i would call the 'food hall' They have a small stand where you order your food and then you can sit where ever you would like through out the space. There is also a large long bar where you can sit and eat and drink at as well. It's perfect for a pregame meal or just for a good time and a good meal.

Service The service was great. It's a family and black owned business (love it) and they were warm and welcoming. My friend and I stepped away to check out other stores in the space and while we were exploring they came and brought us our drinks which was extremely nice of them. It was great.

Food and Drinks The food was everything! We had the crab friends and salmon bites. Everything was delicious. I will definitely come back to try....everything. Yes everything. lol. I loved every bite and highly recommend.

They are located at Sycamore & Oak in SE DC. They offer some of the best wings ever!! Literally the prettiest (those are the wings Maxwell sang about) and the sweet potato pie?? Honey.. don't say I didn't tell you!

There's a bar as well. Strong drinks and the prices are affordable!

Overall, Sycamore & Oak is a great time. They offer karaoke every Wednesday now from 6-10PM. Street parking is available but it gets packed quickly!! Playground available for the children and restroom trailers...

Had the pleasure of enjoying a meal catered by Dionne’s on Friday for Pastor Tanai White! The salmon was incredible. I had dental surgery the previous day and could not eat anything hard. I brought my own softened carrots and potatoes. I was so sad. . When I saw the salmon, my night changed! When I saw that salmon was full of flavor, it was full of flavor! It was so tender and delicious and did not cause any pain when I ate. I took some leftovers home and just finished it...
