Let me say every delivery person I've had was wonderful and kind. The people I've talked to on the phone were also wonderful and kind.
However...
Quality is hit or miss, every. single. time. Sometimes, the bread is great. Other times, the bread is a mutant blob of overcooked chunks mashed together of varying sizes. Sometimes, I don't think it's cooked all the way because of how dense it becomes when it's just plopped and mashed together before baking.
I get having to be fast, but bro, please, I'll wait the extra 5 minutes if it means you don't rush for no reason and my food comes out as "edible-ish."
The chicken usually has, like, a squirt or two of sauce, and the chicken is not tossed in the sauce, absolutely not. The sauce is just laid atop the chicken in a line, OR so much sauce that I'm confused about how the economics of it works out for the business. Clearly, this much sauce can not be necessary. Are they offloading their back stock of almost expired sauces onto customers? I'm curious.
The pizza is the only thing worth ordering, and even then. It is usually fine, sometimes dare I say good, but it's dominos, you get what you pay for, and I don't expect greatness from a $6 pizza. My only complaint about the pizza, and I think this goes for most take out style pizza places, is who the hell is teaching these people how to cut it into slices? 3/4 of the pizza is cut in 3.5 slices, which doesn't even make sense, and the remaining 1/4 is somehow cut into the remaining 4.5 slices, again, I'm not sure the math checks out here portion wise, but I guess technically it is 8 attempted slices. I say attempted because, let's be honest, the slices are never actually cut all the way to the counter, just mashed down with the pizza cutter up to the point of having a line where it was attempted to be cut so you can haphazardly rip it into 6.8 slices of pizza. Don't worry. All the tips of the slices will get stuck to one mega slice we call the Big Tipper as it has 4 or 5 other pizza tips still connected to it.
Also, Dominos sent me a free pizza coupon, awesome. However, I couldn't use it here unless I spent $17.99 because they have a delivery minimum. Understandstandable but wild for a free pizza coupon. Imagine subway doing 5 dollar footlongs, but only if you spend $15 first.
The kicker? I couldn't even place the order for pickup because the coupon is only valid on delivery. Amazing. Why am I complaining about a corporate coupon when this is a franchise? According to Dominos corporate, there should not be an order minimum for free pizza coupons. So this franchise doesn't care and does it anyway, and there isn't any recourse. Fantastic.
Imagine running a franchise business, but not having the principle to honor coupons that your corporate office offers customers without creating barriers to make sure your books are always in the red. K.
It's Dominos. Their slogan is essentially "I guess it's food, and we know you're hungry and kind of depressed." so what can...
Read moreI'm giving a 2 star review only based on my experience last night. I ordered my food and it was a bit of a larger order approx 60$ for the order plus the tip I always give to the drivers so about 65$. I waited an hour before calling them (I live 1.4 miles from the store). To be told they couldn't find my house and didn't bother to try calling even though they have delivered to me multiple times before. So about an hour and a half after I placed the initial order the driver shows up with only part of my order so we asked she bring the rest which she politely did and also apologised which an apology can go a long way sometimes. I am disappointed though because any other pizza place would have offered to comp the order at that point or brought some sort of coupon or something. Even when I called to see what had happened the person who took the call was a little rude and short. I understand being busy and mistakes do happen and I'm not after free food etc. The offer would have been nice especially since when we did get the order it was incomplete and was no longer even warm at that point and I just feel that had some sort of offer or compromise could have been made especially since no one bothered to call and tell me why my food hadn't arrived on time in the first place and then showed up cold and incomplete. So all in all it took approx 2 hours to get my complete order, and I just feel like the store itself should have reached out to do something to apologise or make this right. I would imagine orders are supposed to be double checked for accuracy before leaving, and especially since the driver had to make 2 separate trips to my house they had an opportunity to offer some kind of hey sorry we messed up here is 50% off your next order or something...
Read moreI ordered pizza at this location via online order round 12 pm. I got at text at 1220 stating Justin the delivery driver was on the way. After not receiving my pizza I finally checked the pizza tracker at 150 pm after waiting 1.5 hours and it stated my order was delivered. I called this location and spoke to Andrew whom was very rude. He told me that due to construction around my apartment that Justin could not fund my apartment and knocked on several doors. Then he said that Justin called me and I told him I didn't order pizza. I told Andrew that I never received a phone call from anyone and I asked what number was called. Andrew sounded very annoyed and said he couldn't confirm what number was called which didn't make any sense to me. I never received any notification that the delivery driver was looking for my apartment. I did not speak to anyone informing me that they were canceling my order. Instead the marked the order complete and stold my money. I declined to reorder because Andrew's attitude was very condescending and he sounded annoyed that I would want my order since I had already paid online. All I want is my money back. This is the worst experience I have had by far. Just cancel the order, and don't mark it as complete, receive the the payment and 20% tip, and leave the customer wondering where there...
