First time customer here! I ordered the Pork Soup Dumpling, Pork Wonton Soup, and the Pork Shumai at the Kiosk upon entering. Customer service was non-existent and found the actual pick up area by reading one of the LED Screens that had a small paper taped up saying pick up order is at the very end. The Pork Soup Dumplings were O-Kay, I’ve definitely had better and the soup was a bit off. The same can be said about the Pork Wonton Soup, it wasn’t that great, very bland and so was the wonton. The Pork Shumai was tasty however I wouldn’t purchase it again, it isn’t worth the money.
The inside of the establishment was for the lack of better words - not hygenic, there were left over food, containers, beverages sitting on the tables. The tables were not wiped down, the bar area had menus strewn about every where and the chairs all looked unclean.
Overall, I definitely will not be coming back, the prices were definitely a bit on a high end for the dumplings and the food is subpar.
Response for the Owner,
Thank you for your prompt response and my sentiments accurately depict what I witnessed in the establishment. I never spoke about there being paper menus- I specifically said there were menus at the bar that were thrown around the bar area. I never mentioned that the bar was downstairs.
I never made my order with someone in person and used the iPad located across from the bar to complete my order - that is considered a kiosk system. You can find my order under Lizzy if you would like to verify...

Upon arriving, there was no host to greet or seat us. Instead, someone from the kitchen told us to "sit wherever." After finding a table, we waited for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment. Note that there were 5-7 delivery drivers lined up along the wall waiting to pick up orders. None of the tables received service during this time.
When someone finally approached, they dropped an iPad on the table, murmured something we couldn’t hear, and left before we could even request water. To make matters worse, the iPad prominently displayed a mandatory 20% service charge. For what service? We ended up leaving due to the complete lack of attentiveness and professionalism.
It’s disappointing to see such a drastic decline after a great first experience. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. If you're in the area, I recommend trying Copycat just down the street—they have far better service, atmosphere, and food Tried this new spot out for a late lunch today. Food was absolutely delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for such high-quality, tasty food. Parking was also super easy - especially being a zone 6 permit holder. We will...
Read moreThis new pan Asian dumpling and hot pot place @dumplingshotpotbeyond is a fun place to get together. They have tables and booths, and soon they will have a different layout to include a bar. The place is a bit hard to see as the most obvious signage is “Asian street food” but the giant FDC next to the front door makes it easier to find. Up in the second floor window is a drum set and other musical instruments. They plan to make this part of the party. The food is dim sum and hot pots. You order in a tablet. Ryan, who looks like the last movie incarnation of Elvis, is the only server and he manages everything like a rockstar. The kitchen is open and the staff in there are rolling with it. The food is good but fused for the American palate. I can see this becoming a chain restaurant like Cheesecake Factory or Fridays. They have no liquor license so get juiced on milk tea or Vietnamese coffee. The best thing about this place is the potential for a good time. They may have karaoke and trivia and “beyond” in the future. It’s a fun time. And inexpensive. $30 per person for a...
