Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Washington

They open at 6am. Got there at 6 and saw they had numerous bagel deliveries ready to go. Doors were locked so I waited until 6:15 and was told by a gentleman delivering all the orders that they would open at 6:30. 6:30 comes around I go back to the doors and they are still locked and after numerous employees saw me standing at the door one finally came over and told me they will open at 7 now. Many people came and waited at the doors and left, while some got their food from online orders. I said I had been waiting there an hour now and the employee didn’t seem to care. I decided to then order my food online for 7am pickup. Should be a simple order- avocado toast on a toasted plain bagel. Bagel wasn’t toasted, avocado tasted old.. seriously entire visit to this location was awful. Employees were rude as well.

If you’re opening late, Managment needs to put a sign in your window. It’s cold and raining and to just have people waiting outside thinking the place opens at 6am isn’t acceptable. Hopefully this isn’t how they always run their business and it was just a rare occurrence. Regardless I...

Every time I go in this place in the morning there are carry out orders spread out on all of the tables where customers are supposed to be able to sit and eat. There is literally not one table available. Last time I ate here a gentleman staff member was scolding a customer for trying to sit down and he made him go into a corner and eat at a counter so that the precious tables with well-organized carryout orders would not be disturbed. Apparently the system of organization is more of a priority than providing basic customer service. Then, I learned that same gentleman is the manager. We won’t be back. I’ve had too many bad experiences between catching an attitude from the manager who nearly always rings up orders wrong and is really very unnecessarily rude. You shouldn’t have to stand in line at a fast food bagel shop for ten minutes waiting to place an order during rush hour - and being completely ignored by the manager! The bagels are good but the bad service isn’t worth it. We will now enjoy the new spot across the street - the coffee...

Ordered curbside. Instructions said to park near front of store and put hazard lights on. "We'll see you in 10-15 mins". I am already there so I wait 20 minutes. Call them to check to see if I did something wrong and they said no and my order was ready. I expected to see them soon but another 7 minutes go by. Call them back again. And now they say we have the brew the coffee. "how do we know how much creamer you want?". You needed to call us when you parked around back. Apparently we we're parked in the wrong area. 30 minutes are now gone so we just wanted a refund. "You have to use the app for refunds". This app barely has any features. Refunds are definitely not an option. Call back about the refund. "I'll call corporate and find out where in the app." Ask how we will know and he said we'll call you back. "When can I expect a call?" ..."It's a holiday today!"...thanks for the reminder. Oh and just then I see a car parked where we're parked receive a curbside...
