The best thing about Epicurean is that you never have to worry weather they're closed or open. They're always open. 24/7. Also you have many seats, so you never have to worry about finding a spot. In general it has more the feeling of a food court or cafeteria than a restaurant, though the bar-part is more cozy, with smaller tables. I really like the Ramen and as well the Burritos and Sandwiches. It's not a cheap place though! Keep that especially in mind when you're getting something from the Salat bar. You wouldn't be the first one suddenly spending 20$ on Salat... We like to go there for happy hour and get some beer pitchers. It's from 5:30-7pm. The bartender is usually very friendly, but you also mostly have to wait a bit to be served since there's sometimes only 1 person behind the bar. In general I like Epicurean and would recommend it. If it wouldn't be on campus of Georgetown University though I'd probably never go there. It's just convenient after classes and comfortable. Not comparable though to a "real"...

Epicurean and Company is such a versatile dining place. An on-campus cafeteria cum restaurant that's also very near to Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center and Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, Epicurean provides a wide range of food options at affordable prices.
From the buffet station, you can choose from a diverse buffet selection ($6.99 per pound for breakfast, and $8.99 per pound for lunch and dinner). The sandwich station offers hot/cold sandwiches ($7+ to $10), wraps, pizzas ($3+ per slice). The noodles and rice station offers soup and stir-fried noodles as well as a rice selection from $9 onwards. There's also a Japanese sushi station.
One might think an affordable eatery on campus might mean sub-standard food. That's not the case at all. The sandwiches are delicious, pizza less so but it's really inexpensive right. The noodles are really yummy! And while the rice selections might look dubious, it taste good too!
Overall, very satisfied with Epicurean...

The staff seem to have attitude problems, and order mistakes are common. When these discrepancies are brought to their attention, they are unapologetic and do not offer to remedy their mistakes. The price of food is rather unreasonable, but since they are the only game in town, so to speak, people pay the exorbitant prices. Additionally, they do not allow refills on soft drinks. When brought to the attention of the new owner, he glosses over their shortcomings - as long as it does not impact his business, he seems not to care. The food is decent, the service is lacking...the only exception is the sushi bar, where the chefs...
