Big Boys Grilled Subs and Wings — Restaurant in Washington

Lauren, Amanda and Monique. They all deserve a raise or at least some kind of Thanksgiving bonus!! We met up with family for the holidays. We came from all over. My wife and I drove up from San Antonio Texas. Her sister came in from Maine with her two kids. Other family members drove from all parts of Missouri and beyond. Once we met up, it was unanimous decision on where our first meal would be. Big Boys Grilled Subs. We had plenty of kids with us and we ordered quite a bit of food. No matter, though, Lauren got all the orders right the first time. Amanda and Monique backed her up with a smile. We were very well taken care of. No question about it, the food was delicious and hot. Everyone was very very friendly and invited to come back soon. What a wonderful staff. Truly professional and down-to-earth. (The bathroom artwork is hilarious, by the way. You’ll just have to check it out when you get here. Trust me.) I promised I would leave a good review and I apologize it took so darn long. I have nothing against the place, first of all. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food is pretty good once you actually get it. If you come inside to sit down while it's busy, though, be prepared to wait over an hour for your food. The atmosphere itself is not great. Multiple flies going around and honestly, the seating isn't very comfortable for waiting so long. I'm not expecting a 5* restaurant experience, but personally, I'd suggest cracking down a little more on flies that fly in from outside, possibly rearranging the seating bc it can feel cramped at some tables with people walking all around it and bumping into your chair constantly. Wait times on food could definitely use improvement if possible. Just some ideas/opinions.

However, for anyone who doesn't mind this stuff, this place is great. The food is great and the staff are very, very friendly. Even if I personally did not love everything about my experience, I still wish well...

If I were able to select 10 stars, I would! AMAZING in all aspects of a business in the food industry: customer service, flexibility, taste, reliability, kind, accommodating and generous! Our High School football team was in town playing against a local High School team on Friday night and we (visiting team) wanted to serve our players HOT sandwiches to enjoy after the game. Big Boys Subs worked with us on our order with 48-hours notice and were beyond accommodating. They delivered directly to the bus on campus as promised and they delivered fresh HOT sandwiches which our players thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. Bog Boys Subs closes at 8pm on Fridays, but they remained in the restaurant after close to make our subs and deliver them promptly at 9:30pm.
