Last Call Bar — Restaurant in Washington

Did not even get past the smug doorman. Tried to stop in for a drink before a nearby show and the doorman made fun of my recently-immigrated German/Thai wife's German national ID and said "this is not Germany... you could've just made that ID up" (whatever that means). DC code requires a reasonable attempt to ascertain an ID's validity, and explicitly states that foreign govt IDs shall be accepted provided they display the bearer's name, DOB, photo and signature (hers obviously does, in English). When my minority wife stated this felt to her like discrimination, he scoffed at her. In a city of foreign diplomats, what a great spokesperson for this establishment! (Although diplomats probably aren't patronizing manufactured dive bars). I also suppose the doorman is an expert in all ID types from all 50 US states--what an absolute asset, protecting the bar from ID-bearing middle aged foreigners! Hello Super Bowl Sunday was my first time visiting Last Call. I live in the neighborhood & was excited about being able to walk & not have to drive anywhere. However when I got there of course it was crowded it was Super Bowl Sunday. So I walked up to the bar patiently waiting so I could order me a drink & something to eat, when a lady who worked there name Britt bumped me so hard (purposely) I believed. So I said hey she turned to me and said I should not have been standing in her walkway.. Immediately I wanted to just leave because I didn’t understand her hostile attitude towards me. As a regular patron of this establishment, I would never ever thought of writing 1 star review. Bartender that was "bartending" on Friday night was extremely rude and not polite. After waiting decent 5 minutes to grab an attention ( in half-way empty bar), while he was "busy" , I've tried to give simple gesture that we are interested in ordering more drinks, but it didn't work. What made us to leave was his reaction : " My name is not Hey" - "What do you want?" . First of all, as someone who works in the industry, I would never initiate or call bartenders/serves with " Hey ".
