Three Littles — Local services in Washington

Three Littles is an absolutely wonderful baby and children's store, made so special by the owner Elizabeth who truly goes out of her way to assist her customers. Shopping for a stroller and car seat is so much more of an experience than I would have imagined before getting pregnant. It is not nearly enough to read or watch some videos online and then make a "best guess" purchase, as there are so many detailed factors to consider that are unique to each family's lifestyle.

Before finding Three Littles, my husband and I spent hours visiting department stores trying to wade through the various options and being hounded by salespeople who really did not provide any useful information. I finally found Three Littles online and knew we must make a trip to visit, and am SO glad we did- it made all the difference in our experience and decision making.

My husband and I spent nearly 3 hours in this sweet shop looking at 6 different models of strollers and 3 different car seats, and Elizabeth was able to answer every question we had and more. Elizabeth provided valuable, detailed information that only comes from years of hands-on experience, and was so much more helpful than simply repeating specs from the manufacturers' websites. She asked intelligent questions to learn more about our lifestyle and help us determine what stroller setups might work best for our family. Elizabeth was so kind and patient, and put absolutely no pressure on us as we tried each stroller out, practiced folding and lifting them, wheeling them on the sidewalk, etc. Additionally, her store is absolutely adorable and so pleasant to spend time in.

I cannot overstate how wonderful this sweet little shop is, both for the experience and expertise of owner Elizabeth with answering every question related to strollers and car seats, as well as for shopping for beautiful and unique baby items that are carefully selected and displayed. This is exactly the type of small business I want to support and I highly encourage anyone shopping for baby/kid gear to visit Elizabeth and her team!!

Heard great things about this store from my neighbors and after visiting I full heartedly agree. My husband and I went in today and spent probably a solid hour there talking with Elizabeth, the owner, who was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, and helpful when trying to decide between strollers and carseats. This is one of the few stores in the DMV area where you can still test strollers out in person and it makes a huge difference to be able to see what works for you and what doesn't. Super appreciated how Elizabeth encouraged us to try strollers on the pavement outside the shop to get a feel for them, and how they had weighted baby toys to mimic the weight of a child in the stroller. She also provided very balanced, reasonable commentary on the benefits and challenges of each stroller, and was able to make recommendations around what was the best fit for us based on our "must have" and "can live without" qualifications. She also was great about proactively noting how things like our height (we're both reasonably tall) would impact our experience with each product. From what I could tell and looked at, they have an almost comprehensive selection of Uppababy, Nuna, Bugaboo, Joolz, and Silver Cross strollers to test out. They also had the top 7 or 8 most popular carseats that are compatible with those brands (e.g., Uppababy Aria and Nuna Pipa, etc.) available for testing.

We also didn't feel pressured to make a purchase despite taking up so much of their time. She was also transparent about the sales she has coming up as well as the sales the brands themselves have coming up to save us some money. Whole heartedly recommend this store--we will be going back to support them as a small local business once we decide...

Three littles is a godsend store to all parents but especially first time parents like my husband and I. We were having major issues figuring out the used uppa baby stroller I bought to the point of me being in tears and him about to lose his mind after trying to help. Our baby was barely two months. My husband found three littles online and after calling the store and the owner, Elizabeth, assure us that she could help and to come in, we packed in the car and found what I can only describe as salvation in the middle of union market. Elizabeth was wonderful- so down to earth, patient and extremely knowledgeable about all things baby and walked us through exactly how to use the stroller and answers millions of questions. She even said that if we have any questions in the future to please call and she can help us anytime. We were so appreciative of her care and time that we bought some cute baby bath bombs (which we buy all the time now) and an adorable book. We even asked if she’d open a store closer to us in Arlington so we could patronize it more in the future.
