I ordered 3 breakfast bagels at nearly $20 each, which, ok, because in my mind, these were going to be the most delicious, farm to table, highest ingredient quality bagel sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. Not so. Very MID. Bagels were chewy, and nothing about the sandwiches was above average. In fact, the chewy bagels made them decidedly below average. Final thought: everything on Vashon is overpriced and marketed to the semi-wealthy, I knew this and expected it as part of the experience— but this spot is definitely NOT worth the hippie hipster tax. Mike’s (and James apparently) greed is really showing now. Two bagels, a pastry and three coffees cost over $80. EIGHTY. How is anybody other than the wealthy supposed to afford that? The ingredients and labor do not add up to the price. Just the two bagels were $18. EACH. Absolutely insane, never coming here again. This is exactly what’s wrong with this town.
