DO NOT host your private event at Lux. They will not treat your event as a priority. They are not a professional business.

I was looking to book a memorable celebration for my 30th birthday. During the event, a series of unacceptable issues occurred: MISLEADING PRICING. They over charged all drinks. During the venue walkthrough they told me drinks would be $8-14. They charged $15-20 for simple drinks like a rum and coke. LIMITED INVENTORY. The bar ran out of whiskey less than 2 hours into the event. Even when we customized a whiskey based drink specifically for this event. Furthermore, they lied about their bottle selection. TERRIBLE AUDIO SYSTEM. More than an hour into the event, the audio system would shut off over 5x. Lux blamed us for being “too loud” despite a 2pm start time.

In summary, you can come in with plenty of planning and questions and Lux will drop the execution of the event. You may be deceived about their inventory and flexibility during the walk through - Lux will lie. Despite all of this they won’t even care nor apologize during or after the event.
