Update: I stopped by this location on my way home from work yesterday with my receipt from last week and I showed it to the young lady behind the counter along with the message I received from the owner the other night that the first salad dressing is free with purchase and, therefore, I wanted a refund of 50 cents. She took a picture of the receipt and texted it to the owner who quickly replied that only one packet of the Italian, Ranch and Thousand Island dressings are free with purchase; the other dressings, including the Balsamic that I requested at the time of purchase, are NOT free! Like WTH!! If Ken's Balsamic dressing cost the same as other Ken's dressings in local grocery stores, then why is there a fee for it at Manny and Olga's? Not to mention, this policy is not mentioned anywhere on their website, menu or in store! Please change this policy as it makes no sense to charge for Balsamic and other dressings but not Italian, Ranch and Thousand Island! You are a multi-million dollar franchise so surely you can afford 1 free salad dressing of the customer's choosing with purchase! Gheesh.
The food is good and they offer a law enforcement/military discount but the staff needs training. On June 14th, I purchased a small Greek pizza and small Greek salad and was charged 50 cents for a packet of dressing. Unfortunately I didn't notice this error until I left the store so I reached out to the business via messenger on my phone, but they didn't respond until last night at 3:05am (6 days later) and confirmed that the first salad dressing is free and any additional packets are 75 cents/each. So now I have to look for my receipt from almost a week ago to try to get a refund 😠. I also think it's strange that a restaurant founded by a Greek couple doesn't offer Greek salad dressing! I will update this review if I get my refund or some other compensation and if they agree to order Greek salad dressing in the future.
BTW, to avoid the 3% credit card transaction fee, use cash and provide your phone number to earn...
Read moreThese ladies were the worst! We asked for plain fries once we discovered the fries were seasoned with a spice that my family is allegic to. Jezelle, the cashier with glasses and short in height, had the worst attitude after the cook, Evelia, made the 2nd set of fries the same exact way! Jezelle told us with poor customer service that a) the fries were already made over so that's what we were getting and b) no manager or supervisor was on staff to address us. Finally, a random lady from behind the restaurant with a silver tooth was able to help give us plain fries, no seasoning, and we really appreciated her. In order to get the cook's name, she asked Jezelle what to do in Spanish yet they all spoke English. The discussion between the cashier and the cook was below satisfactory. I had to threaten to sue and take pictures in order to get plain hot fries. I will not be returning here. I also gave Jezelle feedback, stating that the menus should state that all fries come seasoned. If that was posted, this whole ordeal would've been prevented and there display of lack of customer service needs to be adjusted. Not to mention, we spent $63.53 in this...
Read moreWorst experience ever I come here all the time and I deal with another young lady that normally works during the week. I come in here on a Saturday night and encounter this nasty individual. My order was messed up from a text to order. I ordered the same type of pizza every time I told her that she caught an attitude I asked her for her name. She refused to give me her name. Then she talked about me to the staff in Spanish. This will be my last time I would give a dime to many and over and this is my...
