This was my first experience at this particular McDonalds..I just wanted to order a large coffee and do some much needed paperwork.. As I do at many McDonald's and other coffee shops in my hometown. Regina took my order with a smile and fun chit chat.. While at this McDonald's a team member continued to keep the lobby swept, mopped and trashed dumped which I truly appreciate..thank you.. After a couple hours of paperwork.. I go to the counter to ask for a refill.. The young man (Hispanic decent, 5"6 or 5'7, chubby, black spiky Mohawk hair style) asks me how long have I been here..I say I don't know..but what does that have to do with my refill..reluctantly goes to refill my coffee and brings it back..I ask him may I have some sugar/cream with the refill..he then goes to retrieve it. When he returns..I ask him why he asked me how long I have been here in order to serve me my refill coffee..he states bc he did not serve me..then I show him my receipt and told him that Regina served me.. He then tells me u only get 1 refill as if I recieved or wanted more than 1 refill . Excuse me..the manner in which this young man treated me at this McDonalds so that I could recieve my just do refill does not sit well with me.. It leaves me angry and upset.. Can the GM..of this McDonald's please leave me your contact information so that we can discuss proper customer care and solutions.. Thank...
Read moreI visited the McDonaldâs on Pennsylvania Avenue in south east on February 1, 2022. I received two burgers through the drive-through that were old. The burgers are dry and the cheese was stuck to the bun, since I ordered them with extra onion I could tell that they had simply re-opened the packaged burgers and added the extra onion. Upon finding a parking space and going inside, I addressed this to a Hispanic male manager whose name I did not get, but he proceeded to suggest that thereâs no way that the burger could have been old. He became emotional,And snatched the bag away for me. He said that I âdidnât know what I was talking aboutâ and I kindly expressed to him that I had been working for McDonaldâs for at least 12 years. He then insulted me by saying you donât know anything about McDonaldâs and you have been working for McDonaldâs for 12Years. Realizing that he was escalated,I decided to withdraw from the conversation until I got my food. I reminded him that at McDonaldâs I was always taught that â the customer is always rightâAnd that youShould never neverInsult your customer under any circumstances. Iâm very disappointed to see that the company has somebody with such an aggressive temperament working with the public and representing such a...
Read moreI have patronized this location over 20 plus years because itâs in my neighborhood and I have been blessed to still be able to reside in the area. During this time my visits have been average, aside from longer wait times periodically. Fast forward to a recent experience, I have NEVER been disgusted with this location to this magnitude UNTIL today.
This location opens at 6am, and I placed a mobile drive-thru order before arriving. A delivery truck was blocking the drive-thru, preventing vehicles from proceeding further. In an effort not to have to go inside, I backed in to the drive-thru which placed me directly at the food pick up window. I had only ordered a medium coffee for my husband and it was already paid for. No big deal in my opinion to back in especially since no other vehicles would be coming from the other way.
There were (3) staff visible at the window, all their attention was in other areas so I blew the horn. They all looked in surprise and confusion, totally understandable. However, what I didnât appreciate was the apparent attitudes and lack of professionalism REGARDLESS of how I showed up in the drive-thru. Furthermore, one lady (possibly a shift manager ) is rarely personable on a regular visit, well she was definitely a...
