The ice cream was good but the service is horrible! My husband and I ordered the same ice cream plus a coffee and we wanted to pay for my dad’s order as well. We kept on telling the girl at the register the order so she could ring it up and she kept one yelling at us that she knew what the order was and already put it in, but she wouldn’t ring it up. Then she proceeds to tell her co-worker to hurry up so she can scoop from that same flavor and that she doesn’t understand why we don’t understand her and was rolling her eyes. Really good. So glad I found this place. They have lots of vegan sorbets, but I wish they had more vegan gelato options like cookies and cream or butter pecan.

I had the mango sorbet, which was so good. It honestly tasted like it was made with love. I’m actually not a sorbet person, but I got it on a whim after tasting it.

I also got the coconut gelato, which was pretty good. More coconut heavy than I anticipated, but that’s mainly because I don’t get coconut ice cream because I’m looking for the taste of coconut (it’s usually just my vegan alternative to vanilla ice cream.) However I would definitely get it again if it’s the only vegan gelato option...

Pitango has several branches, and this one is located at a prime spot in the Wharf. While there’s also a Ben & Jerry’s nearby, Pitango offers a refreshing alternative with its delicious gelato. The ice cream was rich and flavorful, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I accidentally confused my order, asking for one cup with a single flavor and another with two, but despite the mix-up, the team remained calm and courteous. They quickly corrected it and provided fresh cups without any hassle, which was a pleasant change compared to experiences at some other ice cream chains.
