Pizza D'Oro — Restaurant in Washington

Sad to say things aren't running smoothly at Pizza D'Oro Columbia Heights location. We haven't ordered in awhile because of issues. Gave them another chance this evening but it was all for nothing.

When placing our delivery order, I asked the employee on the phone twice if blue cheese dressing & celery came with wings? He said yes. After I placed our order, I reminded him about the dressing & celery. He assured me those items would be included. I apologetically explained that the last few times we ordered, my husband did not receive celery or blue cheese dressing. He said don't worry. I thanked him & hung up.

Order arrives. Pizza is cold. Wings very hot AND no celery. Did receive blue cheese dressing but NO CELERY.

We will not try again. Bye bye.

We've ordered pizza several times from Pizza D'Oro on 14th St NW in Columbia Heights and they've always been delicious.

Nice thin crust with savory pizza sauce and high quality mozzarella. We've had plain, mushroom & spinach and their white pizza - all were wonderful.

So i got a pizza from here for the first time a week ago and it was a great experience! I think I added banana peppers, green peppers and mushrooms and I could not be more satisfied. I love PIZZA and this spot definitely would come here again. I also ordered mozzarella sticks (also a favorite of mine) and it was also delicious. I have zero complaints and the price is reasonable (i paid about 22 dollars I think). I can't wait to try other things on their extensive menu! I don't remember the customer service being bad, so I guess everything went smoothly. I was concerned about parking but I don't remember having difficulty finding...

Well ....I don't know if it is because I am from Jersey my expectations/standards for pizza are very different than the people from the DMV....,BUT THIS PIZZA IS NO BETTER THAN A PIZZA FROM 7-ELEVEN WITH MORE TOPPINGS. I order a medium veggie... The crust was definitely undesirable, then the cheese was very flat (one note). The sauce was definitely from a can like a marinara.. Just a waste of money .I toss the box out the window.. Not worth...
