this place is the next best thing to my being there to take care of my own kid (maybe better)! they even took care of me!!! i placed an order that was to be delivered by ubereats, and they "were unable to deliver" it so they canceled it and didn't even text me to let me know (accdg to my contact pref)! an hour later, the food wasn't even returned to the restaurant. driver just kept $100+ worth of food. i spoke to a PC staffer to let them know, and five minutes later owner taryn called me. she replaced the order at no cost to me after she confirmed uber had refunded my original money. my kid had her food way quicker than i could've made the soup from a box. taryn was delightful, professional, caring, honorable, and just the type of person i want feeding my kid when she's sick at college. im so glad people like her and places like her restaurant exist in this world. oh and my kid said the soup was "super yummy," the matzoh balls were "totally solid" (she did not mean that in the way my gmothers matzoh rocks were solid), and that she was a real fan. all that praise from under the heavy fog of covid is not just literally but figuratively saying something!! thank you, taryn, for having the prescription for great food, amazing business practices, and an enormous, caring...
Read moreI was absolutely so excited about this place. Their menu is adorable and I am in love with the packaging, the soup options, and the whole concept in general. I will start off by saying this meal was around $30 for a vegetarian matza ball soup and a challah roll, not cheap but I was happy to pay this amount as it’s exactly what I was craving!
Very disappointed as the entire menu of this restaurant is soup. Overall the meal was such a let down, and a big shame since the concept and packaging of this restaurant are amazing. The...
Read moreMy neighbor sent "the sickie" combo to me last night when she found out I was home sick. I have to say this is by far the best chicken soup I have ever tasted in my life. I had to reheat it on the stove for a few minutes because I like my soup super hot (and of course it's going to cool down during the delivery process). The huge pieces of chicken were tender and wonderful. the matzo balls were great, the carrots were perfectly cooked and not soggy at all. The sickie package also came with a chamomile tea bag and several other goodies.
I had no appetite all day from being sick but started to feel better within an hour of eating. almost a quart of this amazing soup. I am going to send this same package to any friend who I know is home sick in the future. I told my neighbor that I have never called a business to compliment them on their food and I was tempted to do that and she suggested I write a review instead!...
