EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. You'll be better off going to kiss lounge, mk or secrets. The owner's wife has some type of attitude issues. When my cousin and I arrived we had to share a table with strangers. We ordered hookah, and water until we decided on what drinks we wanted. When the customers next to our table left, we moved to their seats. The owner's wife came over to us and said we can't sit there because it was bottle service only. Then, rudely returned with a reserved sign and slammed it on the table. We returned to our previous table. Another party arrived and sat at the "bottle service" table. They never ordered any bottles. When I confronted the owner's wife about it she acted clueless as if she didn't understand plain English. Later, we asked her for a coal for our weak hookah...never received it. So we asked for the check that we didn't receive until 45 minutes later. We were also charged for shots that were suppose to be complimentary after suffering with her attitude. And gratuity was automatically included for a party of 2, which is illegal in DC if I’m not mistaken. Never apologized nor gave us a refund. Overall, this was the absolute worst customer service experience I have encountered at a...
Read moreWent here on thursday March 14th around 8. Me and my group were seated at the table/couch area on the right after you get to the 2nd floor. we purchased 2 hookahs and plenty of drinks. An hour into being at this establishment one of the waitress informed us that we have to move because someone has bought the section. I asked her why couldn't they be seated else where. There was an entire section to the right of the DJ booth that was available. She stated they wanted our location and paid for it in advance and that we should have never been seated there in the first place. I informed her that sounds like bad management on their part and not something I the customer should deal with. She insisted that we had to move and stood there. I asked my entire party to pick up their hookahs and drinks to move. We went to another table closed out our tabs and left. This was ridiculous that they made is move when 1. we were seated there by their staff. 2. there was another section the people can move to. 3. they didn't compensate or offer any concessions for making us move. Its a billion hookahs spots in dc. I advise you go to...
Read moreSo, I’ve been here multiple times and Friday night was the best experience I’ve had there. Now, I did get there early, around 930-10pm, so not a peak time, yet. I wanted to get a table for hookah and fortunately, we got there at the right time.
Our waitress was so sweet! No matter how crowded it started to get, she always found a way to check on us. I should have asked her name bc she deserves to be recognized…other waitresses I’ve had there have never been as kind.
DJ was great, hookah was great (as usual) and it came out fast. Hookah is about $50 which is typical for this area — still got two for the size of our party.
I like this spot because it gets just the right amount of crowded without being overwhelming…I also left at midnight so I can’t speak to anything after that.
The Right Spot will always have a early...
