My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Roti Mediterranean restaurant today, and it was an absolute treat! As vegetarians, we were thrilled to find a plethora of delicious options that catered to our dietary preferences. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a wonderful lunch experience.
Both the rice bowls and pitta options were simply mouthwatering, making it a tough choice to pick just one. The roasted vegetables were cooked to perfection, offering a medley of flavors that complemented each other beautifully. The falafel was undoubtedly the star of the show, with a crispy exterior and a delectably spiced interior that left us craving for more.
The attentive and friendly staff made our visit even more enjoyable, especially with kids in tow. They were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to help with any questions we had. Kudos to the kitchen for accommodating our dietary requirements without compromising on taste!
The beverage selection was diverse, offering an array of choices from refreshing sodas to delightful fruit juices. Each sip perfectly complemented the vibrant flavors of the meal.
We were pleased with the portion sizes as well, ensuring we left the restaurant satisfied but not uncomfortably full. The reasonable prices added to the overall value of the dining experience.
Roti Mediterranean restaurant is undoubtedly a gem, and we highly recommend it to fellow food enthusiasts, especially those seeking delectable vegetarian options. Whether you're a fan of rice bowls or pitta, or simply can't resist well-prepared roasted vegetables and falafel, this place has it all.
In conclusion, our lunch at Roti Mediterranean was nothing short of delightful. Great food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere made it a memorable family outing. We will surely be returning soon to indulge in the flavorsome fare once again!
A big thank you to the staff and chefs at Roti Mediterranean for making our meal truly enjoyable. Five stars...
Read morewent with my girlfriend at like 6:30-7 on a Friday night and we found ourselves alone in there aside from one other guy dining.. who left eventually. Right as I walk in I see they have this caution tape up blocking off half the restaurant, so it’s unclear where to go. Im not shy though so normally I’ll just walk right up and talk to the staff. The staff were pretty much monotone. Not rude by any means. After a quick look at the menu I ordered the falafel street pita which sounded great buuut they were out of pita bread. Well half the menu are pitas so they make us burritos.. with regular tortillas. At checkout, the price was shocking - it was some $37 for the 2 burritos and drinks. Now okay despite all this the food was surprisingly good, the falafel burrito tasted quite fresh, and my girlfriend absolutely LOVED the sweet pickles. I’m not a pickle lover but she said they were the best pickles she’s had. She also loved her refresher drink so so much. Would give this place another go hopefully...

Since the closest Roti location is closed on the weekend, I walked down to Foggy Bottom location to pick up their salmon rice bowl with couscous, hummus, and purple cabbage slaw to go.
My first thought when I saw how tiny the salmon piece especially for $2 extra was what a rip off - Appetizer sized at most - 2 bites and it was gone. To make things worse - it had been sitting around for way too long (Dry and cold) - Thank goodness for tzatziki sauce!
The purple cabbage slaw tasted pretty much like crunchy plastic. Where was the flavor? It was left to their creamy hummus and fluffy couscous to save the day. I would definitely eat these two sides again and again.
With Cava just the down street from where I live, probably won't go out of my way to give Roti another try any time soon. Perhaps I would return for their falafel or chicken - but definitely stay away from the...
