This church is beautiful! The people who work there are beautiful and the work that they do is amazing!! My husband and I originally struggled to find a church that fit within the box of a traditional church, open to new comers, and with such an welcoming value system. The church we regularly attended was all the way in Vienna, VA (so not an option for our DC wedding) and we were concerned we wouldn't find a church that would mean something special to us. After a day of driving around dc and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the size of some of the DC churches, we passed by this church and were immediately drawn to the colorful flag out front. Inside, there are tons of pamphlets about the work they do and it really truly warmed our hearts. On top of all the already great things about Church of the Epiphany is that they have an AMAZING musical director. This is a diverse parish dedicated to serving the downtown community. The 8:00 service has many opportunities for growing faith and strength in the face of adversity and addiction.
