Tatte at city ridge was OK- food and front end have room for improvement. Was there at 3 pm on Saturday. Not busy- maybe half full. No wait to place order. Ordered 2 chicken noodle soups and a salad. Person taking my order was a bit hurried / not patient. Seemed to be rushing me. For example— During payments , she bypassed tip screen and when I said I was going to provide a gratuity she said “ sorry, I’m the manager and I’m not accustomed to getting tips”. Weird- I thought the tips were probably shared and also went to the food runners. You’d think a manager would be fighting to get tips for their team. Oh well. Food arrived in decent amount of time and was at appropriate temps. Food runner was fantastic- friendly and helpful. Soup looked great- nice presentation, had beans and lots of vegetables. Unfortunately the rest was a disappointment: very little flavor and virtually no seasonings. I don’t like a lot of salt but this soup required heaps of salt, pepper and some hot sauce. It was obvious that the neither the kitchen crew or management were tasting what was coming out of the kitchen. I’m guessing the soup at the adjacent wegmans hot bar would have been far better. Salad was fine. Basically- I would not go back to Tatte at city ridge unless there were absolutely no other alternative.

A nice bakery/cafe, they offer an extensive breakfast menu along with a bunch of options for pastries and all kinds of drinks. It's a nice place to work, this location is huge and has a ton of seating if you have some work to do and some noise canceling headphones it's not a bad place to hang out. They add the normal health tax for oat or almond milk. I can't remember the upcharge but it seemed high seeing that dairy alternatives are about the same price as whole milk now. So if you're lactose intolerant or just want to avoid dairy be prepared for an upcharge.

I think it's time for Tatte to re-visit their hybrid serving model. It is a combination of counter and waiter service which just leads to confusion and inefficiency. The food is still excellent. The pastries and fruit are fresh and delicious. However, while the warm prepared brunch items are also good, it takes forever to actually get it. Also, once served, it was cold, clearly indicating that it was sitting out for awhile. Look, it is easy to see why this place is popular, but it could be so much better with more efficient service.

I shouldn't be surprised at such a low rating of this place. I have visited several Tatte locations. This has to be the worse of them. The customer service is horrendous. I know good help is hard to find but this is incredible and not in a good way.

I waited 10 minutes for oatmeal only to find out they didn't have it. Then they say oh we have it but not the drizzle. Then I waited an additional 7 minutes to find out they put nuts on it and I certainly wasn't waiting again. She said she would refund me. I rushed out because I was late for work. Only to realize I paid with cash. The cashier should've caught that.

Go back to get cash and instead the mgr gives me a free rose and gift card. The $25 gift card didn't work when I went. TWICE. The mgr on site that day had the cashier playing messenger telling me to other through the app. That didn't work. Then she said oh well it doesn't work here anymore and I need to call tech support! What???

I just left because I don't have the energy to deal with people who cannot understand how important customer service is. So no refund nor a working gift card. They basically received free ...

Regret giving a 20% tip because the employees did not have a care in the world. One of them walked away with our table number without asking if we were waiting for more food. Then my food was left on the kitchen counter for a while until I asked an employee to check if it was my order. By this time my food was cold. I was sitting at a table next to the kitchen the whole time and I saw two employees talking about the plate on the kitchen counter, which turned out to be mine. But for some reason they didn’t bother with it. It just sat there. I don’t think Tatte would randomly cook up dishes unless someone orders it. Neither one of the employees bothered to even figure out who the order belonged to knowing fully well that someone in their cafe is waiting for that food. Think twice about giving them a tip because they may not perform...
