Citizen Heights Church — Attraction in Washington

I remember the first time I visited Citizen Heights. Looking back, I could have never imagined what God was about to do in my life through this church. Citizen Heights became family, a place of support, and an amazing community. It’s such a joy to serve and to be there for one another, literally the true meaning of church. Here you find people who love God and genuinely care. We care because we know that every person who walks through the doors matters to us and to God. There are so many opportunities to worship, learn, grow, share, and create memories together. Small groups make it easy to build deeper connections, and I love seeing so many young adults living for God side by side. For someone who had lost connection with god, this church helped me restore my relationship with him. I’ve met tons of great people especially my fiancé. These people have seen me grow into a better person than what I was before.

If it helps more, I was down on my luck and was just in a need of guidance because I felt my world coming down slowly. Through the prayer of David Davila, not did he pray for me but we both cried. He mentioned things I’ve been through that I never told him and that’s when I knew god took the time to talk to me personally to prove that he’s good and that he knows what I’m going through and that so long as I still believe in him things will always be bright.

I really love this church, I always feel welcomed, even when I arrive late, and Pastors Michael and Heather are wonderful and they always deliver a powerful message. Different church members often serve as speakers and are often really funny which always makes for an entertaining time. I always leave feeling great!

Their church also has an app you can use to watch church service live if you're unable to make it in.

They have service on Sundays at 10:00 am and 11:30 am. I hope that they'll one day decide to also have mass later in the day.
