Ok, I never post something on Google, but today, I have the worst experience with this place you can have. We ordered with Uber, and when the driver showed up, I immediately saw that something was wrong as there were no drinks, just a small bag. When I asked the driver, he said that he was surprised too, asked Wendy's, but they replied there are no drinks with this order. So I checked everything in the bag : We ordered 3 burgers , and only 2 and 1 were not even what we ordered. Only 2 fries instead of 3. Missing 1 ice cream. No drinks at all. So we called Wendy's and they asked us to come, which was not really wanted because when you order with Uber, usually it's because you don't really have time to go out, but we went... When we showed, we were received by a man, not nice at all. He asked us to wait and took care of another customer ( it looked like it was a friend). I'm French and my English is not perfect so I asked my daughter to explain to him as she's bilingual. He was really not nice ,so I tried to ask him myself, he was completely irrespectfull with me making some sign with his hand to show me that he did not understand me and doesn't want to talk with me.... He also said that next time we have to call Uber and not come to see him because he was sure that the order was completed and the issue was with the driver and he was making us a favor. What I am thinking, ok, it can happen something go wrong but I am the customer here, I don't care who failed and I shouldn't have to care !!! Read moreI ordered online and paid the additional fee to do that and received confirmation of when to arrive to pick up my food. As I'm pulling into the parking lot at the scheduled time, I'm looking for the marked parking that every other fast food place has which are signs usually reading something like "mobile ordering / text or call .... / check in/ etc..." and I'm not seeing anything that resembled a clear differential of mobile ordering parking (that I just paid an additional fee to do) versus any other parking so I wondered how they would know which car would be the correct one to bring my food to...hmmmm... I'll call. "We're sorry but the person you are trying to reach is not accepting incoming calls" is the message I'm getting.... WTH IS GOING ON!! is what is going on in my head at this point... I notice someone had just went inside and came back out with food and I'm thinking that's what I'll do I guess.. at the door, there is a red sign stating all online orders to be picked up at the counter inside... So now I'm irritated that I got hustled into believing I was doing something to stay safer by ordering ahead to limit contact PLUS PAID AHEAD WITH A DAMN FEE & I've gotta go inside cuz you're not accepting phone calls either to just give me my money back?? Read moreI happened to visit while a person I assume is the franchisee was in the store, older gentleman with glasses who is possibly of Hispanic or Indian descent. He had taken both on-duty managers away from their duties to walk them around and point out issues around the store. I understand the necessity, but he left the crew short staffed during a late lunch rush. I could not hear any of their conversation, but based on body language there was no positive feedback.
I stood at the counter for several minutes before one of the line folks was able to come over and assist with my ordering. In the almost half an hour I spent in the location, I saw the franchisee point things out, inspect, and examine, but never once lift a finger to assist the crew that was trying to keep up with a steady counter clientele and a frenetic drive thru.
The store does need work on cleanliness- trash on tables, tables not wiped, and flies all over the back wall in the drink station. The franchisee never helped. What a horrible example to set for your employees. His demeanor was that of an overseer or a corrections officer with a work crew.
