What is up with their Splenda? I used to get 4 Splenda on a large iced coffee and it would taste sweet. Over the years that increased to 5, then 6, then 7, 8, 9, and now even 10 isn’t sweet enough.
It’s so ridiculous that I’ve thought maybe I’m losing my sense of taste. Except that everywhere else, just a few Splenda packets will do, and same when I make coffee at home. It’s only at Dunkin Donuts that I need an obscene number of Splenda servings, and this all started years back when they switched to their Splenda machines (instead of the packets they would manually open for customers).
I’m pretty tired of coming in here and wondering how many extra packets of Splenda I need to bring with me to correct the sweetness. Today I added two extra to the ten they put in. Whatever their Splenda machine is doing, it’s not adding real servings of real Splenda. Because if it were, the result would be the same that I get everywhere—an objectively sweet coffee.
Dunkin, you’re losing me here. Fix your Splenda machines. Or don’t and watch us spend our money on Starbucks instead, or even better, start making more of our coffee at home. I’ll get my coffee one way or another, but you may not get my...
Read moreThis review is for the D&D on Kukas La., Waterbury, CT. Stopped in on 12/20/22 to purchase $100 worth of gift cards. Waited in line for approx. 15 mins. with only 1 older couple before me. After a while the gentleman in front of me turned to me & asked how long this place has been here. Guess he thought this was a "new" D&D. He then said to me, "I guess they don't want to sell us coffee & donuts". All this time I thought they had already been waited on & were waiting for their order. But no! Workers moving about & not one of them acknowledged us! Didn't even look our way. I peeked around the couple to check out the gift cards & was disappointed in the lack of the selection. A small quantity were on the counter & they were not festive, just regular gift cards. Normally I wouldn't care but I was purchasing these for our work Christmas party. Read moreWell to start, I was sitting in the parking lot of DD and ordering on the app for 4x points. I chose to search location and top one popped up and I filled out the order. Chose drive thru pickup and got behind 14 others. Got to outside speaker and they had no order. Turns out it was the DD 1/4 miles away. So drove there got behind only 6 cars and got to speaker to find some of my order they did not have in stock so had to change it up. Then got to window and they were going to give me someone else's order but I stopped it. Then the started to hand out my hot and cold drink in a tray and the coffee lid was lose and coffee spilling out. So I took the cold drink and asked to have them just remove the coffee and push the lid on tight for me. Nope, took off with the coffee and made a new one...great...right? Nope, as I was pulling out the coffee had zero sugar but some cream. Not like I ordered on app..light and sweet. I still have it in truck untouched. Never will use app...
