My daughter and I were the first customers in the door today at the subway in Waterbury, Vermont. An employee came and opened the door and I greeted her with a, “Hello, are you today?” And the response back from the employee was silence and she turned around and walked away. My daughter and I entered the store and the employee walked behind the counter and it was obvious to me that she did not want to be there today. My daughter is mentally handicapped and has a disability. My daughter asked me to order my sandwich first which I did and then my daughter ordered her sandwich. The employee was very rude to my daughter and I took a step forward and I gave her a look when she looked at me and I made it plain and simple that if she spoke to her like that again, I was gonna crawl over the counter and teach her some manners. As we checked out, I asked if we could get some chocolate chip cookies and she said, “We dont have any.” I pointed to her showing that there were chocolate chip cookies on the bottom of the tray she grabbed the plastic tray which the cookies sit in and shook it and said look there’s none there, and I tried to tell her that they had fallen off and were under the plastic tray, but she would not listen to me. It’s obvious to me that this individual doesn’t want to be there and hopefully management will either teach her how to interact with employees or maybe she can find another profession in which she has no contact with the...
Read moreI went to Subway with my family, on September 13th in the afternoon, and the customer service was terrible. The employee was very rude and mean with us for no reason. 😞 My sandwich was clearly not 6 inches long because the bread have been cut incorrectly. (My sandwich was approximately 4 inches long) When I realized, I told her about it but she replied (very meanly) that it was actually a 6 inches long sandwich and that it's normal that the cuts are not always perfect. I didn't receive any good service. The employee had no judgment and she refused to remake my sandwich. They are probably short staff, but they should not put anyone behind the counter. 😐 Also, the quality of the vegetables (lettuce and cucumber) was very bad. Bref, I am never going back to this Subway...
Read moreOkay, so I don’t normally like to give one star reviews but the woman wearing glasses who was working behind the counter was so flipping rude. The sign they had set up because of the virus was not very clear on where we stand or where the line technically started, and when I was standing probably two feet from the sign she had an attitude and told me to get back behind the chair. There were multiple people who witnessed this.
If you hate people, don’t work customer service. If you hate making sandwiches for a living, quit.If you hate your job, quit. There is no reason for an employee to treat a customer with such disregard...especially when there was a little confusion.
I will never go to this...
