Brave Coffee & Tea — Local services in Waterbury

When the pandemic started, we made it a goal to support as many local coffee roasters as possible as I knew how much impact it was having on at least one roaster near me. I've worked through several and a few months ago, I was ready to switch. Brave was my next choice after a quick Google search. I am delighted I didl. I am not a French roast fan usually, I will liken the taste I get from French roast to that of how a dirty ashtray smells. Brave has taught me that it's not the roast, it's the French roast I've had in the past. Their French roast is exceptional. I'm working through all of their coffees, avoiding the ones with citrus notes as I've yet to find a citrus-note coffee that I've loved. I will say the blends that I've tried have all been exceptional. Today was Harvest Blend, and I'm onto a second cup trying it iced....

This is long overdue, discovered Brave Coffee on vacation trip to Stowe a couple of years ago. I enjoy dark roast only tried the French roast but I was hooked. Last year when I ran out of my onyx French from our last visit I discovered that brave has a monthly subscription and haven’t looked back. Scott makes sure the coffee is fresh and delivered quickly. It’s like Christmas each month there’s just the smell alone when you open the box but the fact that there’s a sample from another business in VT is really cool. I just made my first batch of cold brew from Brave's cold brew kit I ordered online. I'm a cold brew fanatic, and this is hands down, by magnitudes, the best cold brew I've ever had. I love Brave's cold brew blend and ordered a monthly subscription for it. It's really easy and fun to use the cold brew kit too. The reusable and organic cotton coffeesock is easy as heck to clean and dry and makes me feel a lot better than going through all those paper filters.
