Bismillah Grocery & Halal Meat — Restaurant in Waterbury

I had ordered mutton karahi and mutton biryani from here for the very first time. Mutton karahi had hardly any meat and just 4 small pieces or should I say just bones. Barely any flesh or meat. Money in water!! Mutton biryani was some what ok. Not so fresh mutton pieces quantity was a lot. But loaded with rice and mutton pieces very hard to find. Can’t even say “Quality rather than quantity!” because there was no quality and barely any meat to test the quality. I had also asked for some onions on the side while ordering and also confirmed while picking up the food, the guy said yes yes it’s there and I have put some. But no there there was no onion.

There groceries are good. The staff is very polite. 😊. But terrible halal food...

I went here on December 27, 2021. I bought 2 boxes of the frozen chicken gyros and was about to open one of the boxes but when I looked at the expiration date on it, it said expired August 2021 Im not sure how long food has been expired if it’s safe or not while frozen, but they shouldn’t be selling it if it’s well past the expiration. And just to clarify - it said expiration date not the sell by date. It seems selling expired meat and food isn’t new considering the other reviews that are on here, I wish I had checked before I bought from them. I wanted to call and tell them but there’s no point. I’d rather spend my money...
