Thursday July 26th 11:00 am, me and my two boys were the first customers. I ordered two 5 dollar lunches and a chicken sandwich. My 8 year old son got the drinks from the counter sat them in front of us and one tipped over and spilled. The girls were awesome and cleaned up the mess. I asked the girl if she could refill the pop that spilled, she said she asked her boss (the owner woman I dont know her name) and she said NO I would have to buy another drink. Seriously how much is pop! every restaurant refills pop that's just stingy. My son was already upset the drink spilled and then he didn't get his drink refilled, he just sat there with his head down, I'm glad it wasn't his ice cream sundae. Neither drink had been touched we had not even put the straws in them yet. A few moments later the other owner came in, and we all could hear him yelling at his employees my boys are 6 and 8 they did not need to have a lunch experience like this one for sure. We should of went out of our way to the other DQ because of the stories and bad reviews I have heard about the one on university but we decided to just go. My son wanted a caramel Sunday with recces pieces and she said they can't do it because the candy is for the blizzards. I said you can't add it and charge me? Her reply. No. We got to window and was greeted by a very unfriendly person who opens the window and says "and we can't do candy because that's not Dairy queens way🤦♀️🤯 and if they don't do it at cooperate we're not allowed to. I am shook. I have never heard of anything so silly in all my life. My kids experienced this which isn't too cool but this is a representation of hurting people who are angry and bitter take their issues out on you. We won't be back. They had me pull forward and later brought out the ice cream that I had ordered. 40 minutes later… a male employee comes out stating how he made the wrong meal, but I could have the wrong meal he made instead. I denied, stating how I would prefer a full refund after he stated how if I did want my actual meal I ordered, it would be another long wait… after already waiting 40 minutes. He stated to us how he doesn’t know if he can do that, but he will ask his manager. A female employee came out to my vehicle later asking what was wrong and if a cash refund is okay, as I did originally use my card to pay.
